The surroundings were very nice. The host was helpfull and nice. We had our own terrace. The bathroom en de bedroom were big en fine. There was no water downstairs which was sometimes not handy, but every day they did the washed the dishes and cleaned the house, Perfect.

Me and my son stayed on a race weekend. Awesome rooms, staff the most friendly helpful people I’ve ever come across, blown away by the food in the pub. Rooms was excellent, spacious, new bathrooms, everything about this place I loved. The location is stunning. Can not wait to go back here, I’d travel just for the fresh food in the pub. The food was really good , the evening meals and our breakfast. The room was clean and modern and the bathroom was big enough to move about in ,which is so nice as many are now so small.
Staff were all very friendly and helpful. It's great value for money, Would definitely stay again 🙂

The bed was really big and the bedding was of very high quality.
The property is in the countryside but easy to find and it is only a few miles to Cockermouth, inother words, it is great for access to a variety of places.
The owners (next door) are friendly and helpful.
