We were greeted warmly by host Colin, who had advised us that we could arrive from 3 and - true to his word - everything was ready so we took advantage of an early entry to this beautiful property.
The views are spectacular, the location is superb, the property has been beautifully built and contained absolutely everything we needed. We were grateful for the flowers, the milk and the fruit.
It’s clear to us that Colin knows exactly what his visitors are looking for and he delivers brilliantly.
We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay and highly recommend Badgers Hollow.

Fowey is a pretty place, quirky little streets, different independent boutique type shops, lots of cafes, choice of a few pubs and gorgeous harbour views. 45 minute boat trip recommended.
Haveners on the Quay a good place for a drink or a meal.

I like Cornwall and all the quaint, quirky small towns with narrow streets and steps, you can't beat the scenery and the wonderful rural lanes or the crowds of summer tourists and the summer tourist prices everywhere, especially when eating out !

Lots of character. It does get busy but never feels overcrowded.
Nice like beach at ReadyMoney Cove.
One large car park at the top of the town, with several smaller ones in the town centre .

There are excellent hiking opportunities around the Fowey River. You can also paddle, SUP or go on a one-hour river cruise. You can cross the river to the village of Poruan by boat and ferry, and you can take a bicycle with you. There is also a boat connection to the other shore of St Austell Bay to the village of Mevagissey, from where you can cycle to Heligan Gardens. Charlestown, Tregrehan and Pinetum gardens and Polperro can be reached by bicycle. Alternatively, you can also travel by bus. Leave your car at home or, if necessary, drive to the village on the northern road and leave the car in the parking area on the northern edge of the village. Don't drive through the crowded one lane city center, even if the GPS suggests it.
Ours was a full 2 bedroom cottage in this large hotel property. Grounds are lush green and well maintained. The cottage was clean, all appliances kept, kitchen with utensils. Car parking was just near to our cottage.
We could not use the spa and swimming facilities because of our schedule but the facilities at the main reception area looked good including the bar.
It was a good breakfast especially as we are vegetarians.
This FOWEY Harbour Hotel Exceeds All Our Expectations For Everything We Asked For The Cleanliness was top marks ,

The rooms are very modern and stylish. The rooms with a view look right over the sea. The hotel is right in the middle of Fowey so you can walk to the pubs and restaurants. The breakfast is always good and freshly cooked. Great view for breakfast and Nikki is a great asset to the hotel. Very friendly and super knowledgeable on the history of Fowey.

The accomodation was very comfortable. Michaela and Ben are lovely and can't do enough for you. Breakfast was excellent. Good location near Fowey. Very steep walk down to the harbour but only takes 15 minutes and is fine if you take your time.
