We met friends here on our overnight stay all the staff were very helpful.The hotel is beautifully decorated throughout.
The evening meal was superb.

We were upgraded to a bigger room; great position; helpful staff, although had to advise on how to chill wine (you need iced water, not just ice). Dinner was quite good; breakfast was very good.

For an earlier breakfast (7.30 not 8.00) I was offered 'Continental' I expected more than cereal & a pile of mixed sliced bread but it was adequate. Staff were friendly. Bed was comfortable & good size room overlooking the square

The setting is excellent with great views of the dales all around. The staff were very friendly. Food was good. Beer was excellent . Breakfast was very tasty.
Unfortunately the Punchbowl Hotel let us down. Stayed just the one night. Black mould in the bathroom. TV reception poor.
Feetham is very quiet so if you like tranquillity this is a place to go. Please remember to drive slowly the roads are twisty and narrow.
