had fish and chips burnt chips and over cooked fish caeser salad was just green leaves some slightly soggy and rock hard chicken meals inedible staff didn't comment on plates left full in fact had audacity to charge 10 % service. we were staying with a wedding aprty and didnt cause a fuss but will never go back and will not recommend

I thought the staff were very friendly/helpful. The room was charming in fact decor throughout was thoughtfully done. I loved the attention to detail with complimentary drink/chocs and quality of food and toiletries. Quality of breakfast was excellent. I felt that there was a real sense of individuality about Bel and The Dragon.

Nothing at all, arrived at the property with my family for a wedding the next day to then realise we have not been sent a code. Tried to contact the home owner and not met with any answer.
Was stuck outside for hours and end up going home with multiple kids.

Farnham is a lovely town with gorgeous shops, parks and even a castle to explore. There are countless restaurants and coffee shops, and it has a lovely atmosphere.
The traffic is an issue in the town, this was my 4th visit in as many years, and this year the traffic was extremely busy and effected the ambience of the town as a whole. Don't let this put you off though.
Try a drink or two and a bite to eat in the lovely beer garden at The Lost Boy. Such a treat on a sunny day.
We always stay at The Bush Hotel, which is fabulous with an incredible history. The beds are comfortable and the breakfasts superb. It's right in the centre of the town, and is the best place to stay in our opinion.

Had two rounds of golf booked at Hankley Common which is only 2 miles or 5 minute drive down the road. The a great little country pub perfectly situated with good food, nice rooms although a little small and lovely friendly staff. My room had a complimentary bottle of flavoured gin, also there is a small room called The study on the first floor which was a small seating area that had plenty of books for a nice quiet read, a radio should you want to listen and also a bottle of Glenfiddich single malt scotch you could help yourself to. Nice touch!
I will definitely stay here again next time I’m in the area…

Farnham is a lovely market town with pretty much all the shops you would need.
Tilford the village had a pub, coffee shop and a local shop.
squires garden centre was a longer walk of short drive away
the Duke of Cambridge pub right outside the cabins property had excellent food and good array of drinks.
there are many trails all around the local area, excellent for walking and trail running.

Returning after attending college here 40 years ago it was wonderful to see the overall charm hadn’t changed, the period buildings, the quirky “yards” and churches, pubs and laneways means Farnham is still a beautiful place to visit. Plenty to investigate.
Shops have changed or updated but the character still invites a thorough walk around town.
Further afield delivers the pleasures of rural Surrey, Farnham and the environs, are in my opinion well worth a visit.
Good looking, well maintained hotel in a brilliant location near the town centre. Friendly and helpful staff, nice outside courtyard area, parking on site, good quality and plentiful continental breakfast. The staff kindly laid up a breakfast table in advance for our group. We were a family group of four older adults and five young adults and we all enjoyed our two day stay very much.
The hotel was much nicer than expected and was good value for the location and standard of our stay.
The Bel and Dragon group are AWESOME! top quality rooms. charming locations. fabulous staff. fantastic food. Totally recommend them!

We liked everything about this beutifull hotel.Unfortunately we had to leave to early in the morning to try breakfast,but we were offered fruit and cereal as an alternative,which we appreciated.
The setting is amazing in the Surrey Hills and an hour away from Gatwick Airport and an hour away from London.Lots of car parking,
Food was nice, we had breakfast which had few choices and was tasty. Also, we had a dinner which was also nice. Food prices were good compared to other hotels. We used the spa area which was £20 for 2h per person, it’s a small spa, but cozy. Enough to relax. Also, I liked the bed, it was kingsize and comfortable.
My husband and I stayed for one night. The location is excellent as it is right in the centre of Farnham and there was plenty of free parking. The room was tastefully decorated, the bed was super comfy and the shower was excellent. I would definitely stay again if I am in the area
