Delightful quintessential period cottage, three bedrooms perfect for us (3 friends over 60 down for a wedding). Kitchen well equipped, pretty enclosed garden, Sky telly a bonus, great dining area, nice warm shower. Parking fine. I’d stay there again.

We had a great stay here Monday- Friday whilst working in the area, all of the staff were very polite and helpful, quick check in and taken upto our room, we came down for food in the bar the first evening... quick service and great meal. Many screens showing different sports, pool table which can be paid via card aswell as cash. Our final evening we spent with the head chef for a few drinks and pool and got to know a bit about the area.
Will definitely use this place when working in the area again

The breakfast was paid for separately £12 each
But the only options were a full English or fried food in baguettes. I only realised after paying but really didn’t want such a large breakfast. A continental option should be offered. Having said that the breakfast was beautifully cooked and presented and very nice.
One had to book a breakfast time the night before with 8.30 being the earliest time on offer . Despite having submitted our choice the night before we still didn’t get it until 8.50
