Lympstone Manor Hotel is set in the most beautiful peaceful & tranquil location, the estuary that surrounds it is stunning. The staff are friendly and kind and always at hand if you needed anything seen to. Our room had incredible views across the estuary and the beautiful well kept gardens. The king size bed was so comfortable, the best I have ever slept in. We had a fabulous evening entertainment with the Shanty Men, in the pool house restaurant, along with an impeccable fish dinner and excellent wine pairing with each course. I had the great pleasure of also meeting Michael Caines, Michelin chef who is such a kind and lovely man. Lympstone Manor offers luxury, a place where you can enjoy the natural beauty that surrounds it, a place to celebrate a special occasion. I can’t wait to return.

I can see how much hard work is going in to make this a great hotel. The breakfast room and bar are lovely spaces. The staff were really kind and caring, especially during checking in and out, during breakfast. My bed was very comfortable.

We loved the facility to open up the Velux windows into a balcony type setup in the night & morning we stayed. The property was clean and the staff were friendly. Lovely decor and local to where we were visiting. Easy access. Dogs onsite were friendly and were contained to ground floor only.
Clean beach. Lovely marina. Land train not working which was not good for my elderly relative. Went to play crazy golf at lunch time, closed!! Exmouth is very clean, gardens are nice. Lots of dogs on pushchairs! Town square is pretty. Lots of options and budgets for restaurants. Great train links. I would recommend a visit.

Exmouth is a lovely seaside town, extremely friendly people who are really helpful when trying to fins a shop or particular place. Many restaurants, bars and pubs.
We went for a beautiful 2 mile walk along the new footpath/cycle coastal route up to Lympstone and back on the local train. The following day we went on a boat trip to Topsham which was excellent. The captain was great and gave us an excellent and informative commentary. We then explored Topsham, had some lunch in a local pub and caught the train back to Exmouth. The train fare was included in the boat trip booking.

Really lovely town centre.
Really lovely town centre. It felt safe and clean with a mixture of independent and large shops.
Has easy access to the beach and the addition of the hidden dinosaurs is really sweet especially if you have a little one obsessed with dinosaurs

Nice seafront, looks more upmarket than some seaside resorts.
Plenty of places to eat and drink although watch out for pubs closing early out of season. Beginning of May and the harbour pub closed at 10pm.
Love floating restaurant Exe Cafe, but have to book well in advance.

I used to live here so very happy to return for a more lane visit. It is an ideal place for families with good safe beaches, good travel facilities for access to other areas of Devon by bus or train, especially to Exeter’s excellent shopping. Not the most interesting of towns but good middle of the road unpretentious place to visit & enjoy.

Exmouth itself is an attractive holiday resort for all the family. Superb sandy beach with many facilities, wide range of hotels and restaurants, railway and buses. Many restaurants serve a wide variety of fish menus. One is able to walk and walk and enjoy the variety of houses, streets, special buildings, the market and the coffee/snack outlets. An extremely satisfactory area for all ages, albeit rather steep roads if one walks from the sea front upwards.
Beautiful views from holiday home good location exmouth has a beautiful beach lots to do for families at the seaside.
Exeter about 30 minutes drive to all the shops eating places lots of history to see worth a visit..
Local shops near by and beautiful places to walk.
The holiday home is beautiful place has 2 double bedrooms open plan lounge/kitchen with dinning table and 4 chairs has a washing machine, bath with shower and a separate shower, free Wi-Fi, TV beautiful garden. Worth every penny it cost me to stay here♥️
Staff were pleasant on engagement, made me feel welcome
The room was lovely and cozy, it was exceptionally clean with adequate basic toiletries
The sea front / beach was within walking distance, loved the location
From my unpleasant experience at a certain hotel in London where I paid twice as much as I paid at Manor hotel, honestly I did not expect such a lovely service with beautiful facilities at such an affordable or rather lower rate. I would certainly recommend this to others without hesitation.
Stylish, comfortable, modern, fully furnished and with a fully-fitted kitchen. It's an almost new flat right in the centre of Exmouth with a secure entrance. Great location less than 5 minutes walk to the railway station. Nothing was too much trouble for the owner or hosts, and inside the flat they had thought of everything. We really enjoyed our stay and appreciated all the mod cons, comforts and sparkling cleanliness on arrival. A fantastic place to stay.
Excellent seafront location. We booked a standard double but we're upgraded to a large sea view room. I mentioned it was my birthday and the man on reception left chocolate brownies and a birthday greeting note in our room, which was a lovely touch. The staff were friendly, helpful and polite. There were lots of nice toiletries in the room. It was very clean. There was parking in front of the hotel for £6
Older style hotel with a comfortable homely & " Lived in " feel. Staff very helpful, friendly & welcoming & a perfect location in its own large grounds right on the seafront & just a few mins walk from town centre. Most Devon beaches are very well maintained, safe & clean. I believe it can get quite crowded in the summer but it is perfect in the winter if you don't like crowds !
Devon court resort (Hotel) was a super experience! our room (flat) on the top floor with little balcony had beautiful view. the resort have great facilities including swimming gym and tennis. the breakfast was fresh and delicious and the staffs were very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended! we will defo stay here again.
A great place to stay, Estuary view is a lovely apartment, clean and spacious, with a wonderful view as the name suggests. It was close to all the amenities, including within walking distance of the beach, plus on site parking. Debbie was very helpful and prompt in her communications and greeted us with delicious cake!
The hotel was a last minute booking for a female guest a friend. Parking in the area is an issue for someone unfamiliar with Exmouth.
The greeting was excellent though the hotel was very dated and in need of massive investment to modernise.
Cleanliness was very good the bed comfortable bathroom adequate
This was ideally located for what I needed as I was needing to stay in central Exmouth to attend a funeral and visit family. I was travelling by myself so although it’s a completely separate private annex, it was ideal that the owners were just next door if I needed them.
You know what you get with a garden room. Great price, not as big or comfortable as a hotel. The room was clean. Friendly owner. We could use the garden and did not see anyone else there. Near enough to Exmouth and beach (15 minute walk).
The hotel was very welcoming. The staff were both pleasant and helpful. Room was comfortable, with a great view of the sea. Breakfast was brilliant. We are vegetarians and the meal was brilliant.
We would definitely stay there again.
Superb cozy 70’s decor Hotel with swimming pool. Very clean the staff was very friendly. Great for Everyone! Family couples or singles. The breakfast was delicious!! Specially the eggs! I highly recommend it!

Excellent location, very comfortable room with ease of access and friendly hosts, good location for access to Exmouth and Exeter, the latter being the primary reason for picking Hedge Bank to stay over night
Friendly staff, fantastic gluten free cooked breakfast, spacious rooms and superb location for Exmouth beach. Definitely book parking in advance with the hotel otherwise options are limited.
It was lovely that there was tea and coffee and milk provided, plenty of towels too and washing tablets. The area was beautiful, canonteign falls, clovelly and exmouth beach are a must.
Great place to stay, easy walking distance of town centre and surrounded by great pubs, cafe's and restaurants. Really comfy clean stay, garage is an additional bonus.
