Good location for what we wanted it for. Driveway was good to have rather than paid parking

The location for our purpose was great. Friends wedding. Lovely cafes near by for breakfast. Plenty of pubs. Don't forget the congestion charge.

Clarendon Cottage is a very old, quirky, interesting property in a beautiful area of Enfeild. We loved Gentlemans Row, just a little walk from Enfeild Town Train Station.
The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of cereals, yogurts, toast, fruit juice and drinks provided for breakfast- on a 'help your self' basis.
It was great to visit London, but stay out of the city.
It was great to visit London, but stay out of the city. Gentlemans Row is a beautiful area. We visited Forty Hall in Enfeild, but used our accommodation as a base for going into the city too.
There is a overland train station which joins the underground system

As a former inhabitant, I can say that Enfield is a surprisingly underrated area both for a visit and as a stop over. There are a number of decent places to visit within the borough, roads and parking are generally pretty decent throughout. It used to have a serious, market town. vibe but is much more cosmopolitan nowadays and seems to have a good variety of late night supermarkets and some decent places to eat. Can’t speak for nightlife unfortunately-wrong age group (🙄)
What’s often overlooked however, it’s it’s fantastic location - right on the edge of the countryside, but with great travel links not just into central London shops and stations, plus Heathrow, but also out to Hertfordshire and beyond.
I’d recommend Enfield as a place to base yourself for travel ir a break in London.

The bed was very small, we couldn’t pull it away from the wall because of the layout of the room, a double room should have access to both sides of the bed, the shower was also very small & had very little power in it.
It was clean but the decor was tiered.

Good transport links to London.
Good transport links to London. We travelled for football game - Tottenham Stadium only 4 stops away on train. Good shopping centre for out of town location. Nice pubs with good food (food in ONeills sports bar highly recommended for ‘pub grub’ and breakfast!)

Avoid at all costs.
Avoid at all costs. Look at the google images first - it is a house on a residential street - not a hotel. You have to contact the owner to let them know what time you will be arriving to get the keys - he doesn't answer your calls or return messages. We had to book a travel lodge on the day of travel as we didn't know if we had a room or not once we got there. so extra cost. No apology, no communication. Very poor.

I was born in Enfield but moved away.
I was born in Enfield but moved away. Much of Enfield has changed in those Intervening years and apparently not for the better but the areas north of the town centre, Gentlemens Row, Hollywalk etc are just as I remembered. Lovely cottages and houses in lovely settings.
Walking in Whitewebbs brought back those memories of playing there as a child. So many places to walk and see.
Like they say, you can take the boy out of Enfield but you can't take Enfield out of the boy.
Spotless first floor apartment in quiet area with excellent facilities. About 5 mins walk to train station, with easy access to Central London.
Perfect for our trip to White Hart Lane as we headed towards Enfield after the concert whereas most people were heading the opposite direction, so ideal for football weekends. Excellent communication from Mark which was most helpful. Would certainly use again.
This is not a hotel. This is something more like a brothel they had us moving to 3 different properties searching for three different rooms for us. I brought my disabled father on a weekend trip. It was absolutely terrible. The rooms was not fit for human consumption. I would not recommend anyone ever visiting this please let alone staying in one of the rooms.
This hotel offers exceptional value for money. It is inexpensive for London, but the room still had everything you need, and even included complementary cereals, milk and orange juice. There is access to a fully-equipped kitchen, if you want to cook your own food.
