Spacious comfortable apartment, ideally suited for a one week business trip to nearby Leatherhead - (approx 15mins by car). Having the restaurant and bar just below the accommodation was very convenient and the food served there in the evenings was excellent. Sadly I missed the opportunity to try the breakfast/ coffee bar, as I had to leave early for work each day - The staff in the restaurant and bar could not have been more helpful and friendly and the property owner promptly arranged for someone to personally help with use of the SmartTV and resolve my questions. The bed was very comfortable and the apartment was well equipment - I would definitely book again for future trips.

The room was beautiful and nicely renovated, while keeping with the historic aspect of the property. It appears that there are many places to tuck away and to enjoy quiet time, which was a plus. We hope to be back during the work week to be able to fully experience what the proper has to offer.

Breakfast was very good as was the service. The room was very small and next to the hotel dustbins which were overflowing. Would have liked to open a window but the bins made it unpleasant to do so. The room smelled of cooking. The room was not cleaned during our three night stay and there was nowhere to hung the bath towels to dry. I did not realise this would be the case before booking the room. We ate in the hotel one night and the food was good.
The purpose for our stay was to visit family nearby we chose it because it was described as “ refurbished boutique hotel with emphasis on comfort and relaxation” we found it to be a pub for bikers and walkers, with rooms, not at all how it is described.
Set in 9 acres of parkland, the hotel is well placed for Guildford, Woking and the M25. There is free WiFi throughout the hotel, and free parking on site.
