Gwesty Nanhoron Arms Hotel, hotel in Ederyn

Situated in Nefyn, 36 km from Portmeirion, Gwesty Nanhoron Arms Hotel features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar.

Better than expected. Clean, comfortable, plenty car parking. Room was cosy and nicely appointed. Food in restaurant was brilliant. Really delicious. Breakfast also fab. Couple of bits about the facilities.....not enough coat hangers! No lift and we were second floor so I had to cart two suitcases and a load of extras up and down. But nothing that would stop me re-booking as in the main we were impressed. Village itself has a couple of amenities and a beach. Good location to explore the peninsula with great surrounding countryside.

What an amazing place to stay. Me and my daughter absolutely loved it. The gypsy caravan was so comfy to sleep in, best night sleep I’ve had in a long time. Everything you needed and more, kitchen and bathroom area was spotless and they supplied you with tea, coffee milk etc . We had a lovely fire outside at the nighttime. Definitely a 5 star experience and we will definitely be back. Loved it ❤️❤️

Very comfortable and clean and the staff were lovely. Unfortunately the weather ruined our stay but we can't do anything about that!! The hotel was very central for all the places we wanted to visit.

Edern is a very small village so you will have to travel for facilities, it is close enough to walk to the beach within 30 minutes. Also within 20-30 mins drive of Abersoch and Pwhelli. Good local restaurants would highly recommend Yr Heliwr a community pub/restaurant in Nefyn 5-10 minutes drive away the food was excellent. If you are in the area please try it, great food and good value. Nefyn golf club was friendly and spectacular even on a windy day.

A small village along the local main road. Not much in the village, but that was no problem because we liked the quiet and there is a great local shop and garage a few miles away. Also not far from beaches and walks.

If you're searching for the location on Google you'll need to search for "Edern". The reason I stayed here was because it was the closest location to Porthdinllaen peninsula and seemed to be a great central location to explore the Llŷn Peninsula in more detail - perfect on both counts. The village is very quiet, full of beautiful little cottages and not too far from Morfa Nefyn and Nefyn if you need shops, etc. The only place I ate at here was the hotel I stayed in, Woodlands Hall Hotel which was reasonably priced.

For us it was all about location, to explore the Nefyn coastline. The cottage was excellent for this, we could walk everywhere safely with our little dog. Local pub near by and a local shop in village.
