Cosy traditional inn on the high street in Westerham. Even with the busy pub and restaurant downstairs, our room was nice and quiet. The rooms and amenities were all recently updated. Great breakfast each morning. Extra bonus for the complimentary gin provided in the room.

Quiet setting in the country, close to the places we wanted to visit, Chartwell House and Hever Castle. We were able to walk to one restaurant which was handy, others no more than a 10 minute drive away. Owner, Victoria, friendly and helpful, great breakfast. Lovely comfy bed.
The castle and grounds are simply so beautiful. The suite I booked was even better than the photos on the site and the staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. I came away very relaxed and can't wait to return.

We came for Hever Castle and loved the accommodation, the opportunity to drive out for evening meal was nice for us as we came by car. The grounds of the castle are spectacular and beautiful the castle was interesting and well presented.

Edenbridge, close to Heaver Castle, and our visit to the castle and gardens was excellent. all very well organized. In the castle you receive a headphone set in order to follow the history and the rooms.. the whole setting is spectacular. I have visited many castles in my life, but this is one of the best.

It is beautiful place to stay and immerse yourself in history. The rooms are nicely decorated in line with the historical period the property represents. They are very clean and comfortable. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The visit to the castle gardens after the official opening times brings you a sense of being in an enchanted place. My family and I had a very memorable stay!

I visited the place to participate in the Castle Run series. The town of Hever itself is a small one, the castle grounds are worth a visit. I wish I'd stayed a day longer to soak up that quietness. If you don't arrive by car, it might be somewhat uncomfortable to walk along the vehicle roads with no sidewalk most of the time, though.
Being able to access the castle gardens after closing and early in the morning is magical. Was lovely relaxing in the Billiards room in the evening. Includes free entry to the castle - was great to be able to look round when I arrived and then again the next day when I Was able to look in more detail at the bits that I was particularly interested in.
I got the train to Tonbridge and had a lovely walk to arrive at the castle. Then a shorter walk to the station at Edenbridge the next day. A fabulous 2 day break.
I know this Isn’t a traditional airport hotel, but every time I fly through Gatwick, I stay a night. It is about a 30-40 minute drive to the airport and rarely any traffic.
Staying at Hever is everything you want to experience in UK - magical castle, stunning gardens, and a few great pubs in the neighborhood for dinner. The rooms are each unique and so well decorated…steeped in history. The staff were very attentive. Much gratitude.
Our hosts were excellent in providing detailed information for our stay. Loved the history of the house, the character and the location. It's a five-ten minute walk to Edenbridge Town station, which gets you into London within 40 minutes. The leisure centre is a ten minute walk away, and a nice river walk five minutes away. Plenty of choice for supermarkets, and a couple of good pubs and coffee shops.
This is a terrific country inn. The proprietor made us very welcome. A warm and friendly atmosphere and great food (for breakfast, lunch and dinner). It's a small hotel but personal and in a great location. The rooms were comfy, spacious and well furnished. Overall this was very good value for money, and glad to have chosen whilst visiting the area.
We have stayed in a variety of pubs/hotels over the years and the Greyhound is definitely in the top 5,the owners were fantastic,food was superb and the accommodation was outstanding.Primarly booked the Greyhound as was only 10mins from lingfield racecourse,will definitely return even when the racing is not on!!
Location, Food, Service, Ambience. The lady in charge gave the best customer service, didn’t get her name but she was from Ireland. Best service I have ever received in a hotel and I have stayed in hundreds over the years. Would definitely recommend, food both breakfast and evening meal were excellent.
LIKED THAT YOU COULD WALK AROUND THE GARDENS AND THE HOTEL..DIDNT FEEL CORPORATE, THE STAFF WERE EXCELLENT AND FELT COMFORTABLE IN THE SURROUNDINGS AS NOT PRETENTIOUS , PARKING WAS GOOD, UMBRELLAS IN ROOM AND RECEPTION WAS A NICE THOUGHT, INFO BOOK , HELPFUL
