I really liked that the rooms where in a small block, away from the main building and hence the main road. A quiet nights sleep was had. The bar had a good selection of beer and whiskey. The evening meal had a decent range of meals, good value and really tasty. The breakfast again had good options and was well cooked. The bed room and shower could have been taken from a 4 star hotel, they are that good!
Booked this hotel literally 10 minutes before arriving as a hotel down the road had messed up my booking, even so the staff were expecting me when I arrived.
Rooms are cosy but functional with everything you would expect in a hotel room.

We ate breakfast and our evening meal in the hotel. Both were excellent! The choice on the menu was really good and all the food was beautifully cooked. The staff were all friendly, efficient and helpful.
