It is a fabulous old hotel that has a warm and welcoming interior and beautiful grounds. There were snowdrops everywhere! The staff are all very friendly and caring. We had booked the suite and it was amazing. The food is superb. Dinner is a tasting menu of 7 courses every night and each course was delicious and beautifully presented. The waiters with their white gloves were a lovely touch too! The hotel is very close to Peebles and there are plenty lovely walks in the area. The Tapestry of Scotland is a short drive away in Galashiels and well worth a visit.

This place certainly has the Wow factor. The cottage is wonder. The location is amazing and Jan and family were all very friendly and always had time for a chat and to check to see if we are enjoying our stay. No mater how long this wonderful family have been running this place. Their enthusiasm is like they've only just started. We will definitely holiday there again and recommend it to everyone. Amazing, cozy stay, communication with the staff was spot on, very helpful and went the extra mile to satisfy all our needs and extra. Very clean, great quality design and lovely pieces of furniture, beauty products from a well known brand instead of the ordinary (Rituals) soap and shampoo made the miss super happy. would definitely recommend, good wifi, amazing views and perfect jacuzzi water. if i could give them 100 stars i would. I stayed for three days and loved this flat. What a find! Great location, secure, comfortable, spotlessly clean, WIFI etc, lovely tasteful decor and had everything I needed for my stay. No problem parking on the street outside either. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others and would hope to return to Sakan when next in Peebles. Thank you.

Lovely little one bedroom bungalow within easy walking distance of Peebles centre. Had all amenities expected and some which were not i.e. it has fridge, washing machine, oven and microwave as well as a dishwasher. Small sunlounge, garden area back and front with space to park the car in the driveway. Overall excellent
