We were so close to a good choice of food .

We were so close to a good choice of food . First night ( Monday) opted for local takeaway which did the trick . Next we tried Reema fantastic Indian cuisine. Another night went to the Seaview Hotel . Brilliantly meal and great wine . Totally recommend Grub and Gumption for breakfast they seem to cover many dietary needs .

East Preston is maybe a little big to call a village but it certainly has a very villagey feel, with Boules on the Green, and 2 very traditional pubs, as well as The Seaview where I stayed, which is excellent and has a lovely pub garden. There is a small supermarket, an excellent card and gift shop, and plenty of restaurants and cafes. The beach walks are brilliant, being placed about halfway between Worthing and Littlehampton.
