Absolutely everything!
This place has an almost magical quality.
I first visited in November for my birthday and was blown away at how idyllic it was, how fabulous the staff were, and what a fantastic walk in breathtaking scenery could be had along the coast.
I booked for our anniversary, this time with a hot tub and a terrace. Quite honestly, heaven, couldn't fault it, any of it.
The shower is excellent (they so often disappoint, not here).
Bed is just wonderful.
The tasting menu is out of this world. Any one of the amazing dishes served, I would have had as a stand-alone, but the treat of having exactly the right amount of each was perfection.
The staff make it what it is in all fairness to them; the warm hospitality you receive immediately, the attention to detail, is superb.
It is the epitome of relaxed glamour.

Steve and Paula are excellent hosts, we had a comfortable room and their breakfast was excellent. They are very easy to talk to and as a bonus they were very tolerant of our noisy hair shedding labrador!

The cottage is not in East Ord, but a small community called Scremerston. It’s on a quiet road just off the A1, with lots of good walks for the dogs.
There is an excellent cafe a short walk up the road , which does reasonable priced full breakfast. ie bacon butty £3.20, plus fantastic cakes.
All places of interest are within a short driving distance. Really a very nice quiet area to stay.
