We stayed at the hotel before our flight at Gatwick the next morning. The hotel organised a taxi to the airport. Left car at the hotel when we went on holiday, all went smoothly on collecting our car on our return. Efficient check in and check out. Super hotel and restaurant and fantastic staff.

I liked the room and the facilities available in the room (kettle, iron, towels, fridge, etc) was a nice touch - everything I needed for a night's stay.

We were only staying for one night with a very early start in the morning. The hotel completely met our needs. We have stayed there before and we would stay again.
Poor value. Like a Premier Inn but 4 times the cost.

Great place to explore the countryside and visit local attractions (Hever Castle, Churchill house, Tunbridge Wells). The area has some lovely places to eat and drink, especially The Wiremill Lakeside Pub & Inn.

Such a horrible experience.
Such a horrible experience. There was no hot water and heating wasn’t working so it couldn’t get worse. A member of staff tried to fix gas but he couldn’t. I don’t think he got enough knowledge to do so. Please do not waste your money, I had to leave the room at 7 am in the morning because it was too cold to sleep.

A beautiful part of the country, plenty of historical buildings and gardens to visit. England at its best. As well as staying at Gravetye Manor we visited Pashley Manor gardens and popped to Hastings for a stroll by the sea. We were lucky with the weather and found our weekend there one to remember. Below are a selection of photos of Pashley Manor, to go with those of Gravetye Manor.
The room was nice and clean, the bed was really comfortable. The wardrobe had plenty of hangers. The shower room was clean and well equiped. There were plenty of towels available. The breakfast buffet was really well organised and the selection was very varied. It was also easy enough to ask for a to-go box for any extras. The bar is also a very nice and quiet area. The pool and hot tub in the spa are a nice relaxation spot.
The hotel is a bit of a maze, but the staff was very helpful in guiding me to my room.
The location was amazing, right in the centre of the historical part of town.
The room was very spacious (we stayed in the Sackville room) and the staff were the outstanding part, very friendly and helpful, allowing us to use the fridge in their bar to keep drinks cool for a wedding. The full english breakfast was amazing. Thank you for being lovely hosts.
The studio apartment is prepared with the basics for a pleasant stay, TV, sofa, washing machine, bed, wifi, etc. In the kitchen there are utensils to prepare your meals.
It is a very quiet area and very close to the East Grinstead train station.
Excellent communications and immediate responses.
When I have to return to the area I will book again.
Exceptionally warm welcome on arrival.
The room we had was huge - with a big 4 poster bed in the middle. The bathroom was massive with a large walk in shower unit and separate freestanding roll-top bath.
Location wise this was perfect - just on the edge of East Grinstead town centre within walking distance of several cafes, bars and restaurants.
Clean. Room was on smaller size but still space for walking around. Extra chair besides desk chair. Small closet. Breakfast is extra. We chose continental buffet which included porridge which was very good. It was very adequate to start the day. Free easy parking on the premises.
Friendly check-in at CJs downstairs. Owner had agreed to hold packages that were mailed to me at hotel and Gosia [sp.?] brought them to my room. Room was quiet and comfortable. The following day, another woman working in the cafe made a taxi reservation for me.
Every thing.
Lovely dining room, excellent food ,comfortable and well equipped bedroom.
The gardens and woodland were pleasant for walking .
Flowers beautiful in the gardens and in the hotel.
Helpful staff. Thoroughly enjoyed our short stay.
Clean and comfortable facilities. Ideal location walking distance to local shops etc. Nice little kitchen with plenty of utensils to prepare food. Great alternative to a hotel if you want a little more comfort / flexibility.
nice clean facilities, and the breakfast was by far the best breakfast I’ve ever had in my life. A lovely extra benefit is that you can use the spa too which was lovely! perfect stay if flying in from gatwick
Room was fine, very quiet considering East Grinstead is a busy town. Breakfast was good with a wide choice of items and very promptly delivered. Parking was convenient in front of the house.
Checking out after 2 hours upon arrival as the wrong room was provided so there was no space for my family to stay. I was assured of a refund which I eventually received.
Pure luxury - well worth the indulgence!
If nothing else, go for the food. Michelin-starred chef, George Blogg’s dishes not only taste amazing they are a work of art too.
Try the steam train from East Grinstead. Runs twice a day. Lots of independent shops and the Gothic House offers advice and guidance on days out and sightseeing.
