We'd a terrific time at the Gatelodge. A beautifully restored building providing 'studio' accommodation. Everything we needed was supplied, mini fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster cups, plates & cutlery. Tea & coffee were provided too! The bed was a great size and very comfortable indeed. Lots of storage for clothes, and a folding table & chairs too. The other room had a very generous sized shower and, again, all the facilities you could need. Lots of thought have gone into anticipating guests' needs. John, our host, checked everything was OK for us and basically couldn't do enough to make our stay perfect. Loved the views and the there's a River walk which starts beside the Gatelodge - we really enjoyed dandering along beside the river Roe. We will definitely be back 😃

There was a full English breakfast with croissants, bread butter and jam, yogurt. there were even sandwich covers so if you're in a rush you can pack and take the breakfast with you. The beds are super comfortable and the showers have good water force after a long day out in the city we were relaxed with the hot shower. the entire property was clean and smells good.

Great place to stay in - spent it with my girlfriend and was definitely cosy 😅 hot tub and sauna along with a table with chairs outside to have a few drinks or dinner looking into the sunset with views was the best part of the stay. Bed was comfy and room was very spacious. Also sorted us out with a bottle of wine and snacks. Well looked after

The Sperrins mountains are the best reason to stay here, though if you're doing a driving tour, you'll find so much to see! There are gentle walks too, like the River Roe country park, which is great for kids, dogs, adults or head up the hills for a more strenuous hike! Lots of history in the area to explore.

This Gatelodge is finished to a very high standard and was exceptionally comfortable. The owner was so pleasant to deal with. There were quite a few nice touches .. muffins and pure orange juice left for our breakfast. Would highly recommend this property.
