The parking was close by in a public car park. I suggest you arrive at 16:09 or later to ensure parking. The residence is on the sea front and was quiet. (November stay). Deal was an alternative stop off before going to France on the ferry at Dover. The Deal experience was incomparable for the better than the sea front stop over in Dover many years before.

The property had a lot of old-school charm and character, inside and out, which we really appreciated - very cool! The room was perfect for our stay - quiet, warm and cosy and the shower was decent too. Ample parking on site, albeit we were the only guests staying at the time. 15 min walk to the station or Deal Castle and accompanying restaurants and pubs. Breakfast was also more than enough with cereal, toast and jam followed by a full English - excellent! The hosts seemed very nice too.

It was a perfect place for a couple of days for me not being able to walk too far. The Rail Station, The King's Head and The Astor Theatre all close together was perfect for me too. With a nice long Pier to walk and enjoy the views was just across the road.

Great beach access and loads of good, reasonably priced restaurants. We especially enjoyed The Court Yard, 81 Beach St, Hog and Bean and Al's Bakery. Easy to walk, no car needed. Deal Castle was interesting and a great starting point for walking and biking adventures. There are also easy day trips to Sandwich, Folkestone, Dover and Canterbury available from here.

Deal has many wonderful houses and little side streets that are full of charm. There are lots of nice eateries and coffee shops to choose from, we particularly liked Margheritas a charming Italian, the pizza was lovely. Its a popular place, so if you want to try it we suggest booking. Deal is a quiet laid back place so if you like the bright lights and amusements, then Deal isn't for you but it is a lovely place and we would recommend it as a place for a long weekend.

Deal is a lovely seaside town with some great restaurants, golf course at Walmer and Kingsdown, Princes, plus a few more, not overcrowded with tourists and something for everyone. Good fishing opportunity on the pier for those that enjoy it and a few nice coffee houses around.

My partner and I have stayed here many times before and we love the hotel and the staff are always welcoming. Sea view room is a bonus when available (lovely and clean as always); clean bathroom (shared) and the breakfast was (as always) superb (thanks Steve and Maria)! We could only stay one night as the hotel was booked up for the other 3 nights we were staying in Kent... disappointing as we would have been much happier here than at the Premier Inn in Dover. Thanks to all the staff at the Waterfront. We will see you again soon!
Excellent location in the best part of Deal right on the promenade with all of the restaurants and entertainment spots within a few minutes walk. Nice clean big room with good shower. Pretty comfortable bed compared to many other places we've stayed at. Decent TV.
We had a meal on our last night there and it was good quality food with generous portions.
We accidentally left a bag in our room when we checked out and we quickly phoned the hotel who were kind enough retrieve the bag and store it for us until we picked it up later
What a lovely, friendly hotel. It's right on the seafront overlooking Deal pier and promenade. Just a quick trot to shops, cafés, beautiful buildings and amenities. Our beds were the most comfortable we had ever slept in. We arrived to an impromptu concert in the bar - a Spanish guitarist and ex-professional fiddle player. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. We felt really looked after.
Breakfast was bloody lovely.staff really nice people, location was first class,in fact deal was a lovely place clean nice people.Hotel was amazing and the sunsets and sunrise were awesome.
Great location, minutes from the beach & 10 mins to the centre of deal. Deal is a great location to tour the Kent coast & far more genteel than the likes of Broadstairs.
