We have just returned from a 2 night stay here & it was bliss. Since the photos were taken of the property there has been work completed to completely fence off the Viewpoint creating total privacy for guests which was perfect.
The accommodation was so lovely, very nice touches left for guests so thank you, beautifully clean with all you could possibly need for an escape away from life.
The hot tub was ideal to relax in & signs placed to enforce a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere for guests there and in the surrounding rentals.
We would definitely return again & look forward to making another booking very soon.
Thank you for a lovely stay.

Liked the fact it was Victorian, lots of nice shop, coffee cafes, restaurants. A small pier with restaurant at the end of it. Buses that take you to most places. The castle at Walmer was worth the visit. Lovely coastal walks. Yes definitely will go back.

Some nice independent quirky shops especially for homewares and art, there was a great local art sale in the town on the weekend we visited, also an open-air market. The long, flat walk from the pier to Kingsdown alongside the shingle beach was a nice way to spend the afternoon, with plenty to see along the way.

Deal is a charming, slightly decrepit town.
Deal is a charming, slightly decrepit town. It has some beautiful old lanes and houses. Very historic. Huge beach. Lots of coffee shops. Lots of individual interesting shops but needs investment to come to life. Shops and bars are mostly only open Thursday to Sunday. It has an abandoned feeling during the week. We really loved the fish and chips! There’s an amazing fish monger close to the town hall. It’s got a lot going for it but it’s not Salcombe or Southwold! It’s easy to get there on the train from St. Pancras station in central London. There are many holiday cottages. We saw people swimming in the sea in the morning. Cycling along the shore is popular and you can go for miles. There are things to do there. It’s got great possibilities. We really liked it.

I loved the people in this place so helpful and friendly, Recommend two cafes for a fantastic breakfast, The Kings Coffee and The Hog and Bean.
There are lots of charity shops and quirky shops to look around and a very popular bakery. On a Saturday there is a market. There is also a castle but unfortunately we didn't get round to visiting.

Very pretty seaside town; easy to explore on foot.
Very pretty seaside town; easy to explore on foot. Lots of independent shops, but there are two big supermarkets too. Lots of cafes! Interesting history very well described on clear tourist information boards along the seafront. Beware midweek in low season as most of the museums and both the castles are only open at weekends. That said, the coastal path is delightful and I spent my time (two weekdays in November) happily walking by the sea even though the attractions weren't open. Excellent public library with good local history section too.

Great place to stay.
Great place to stay.
We really enjoyed having walks along the seafront and along the pier.
Seafront pubs are great. Visit the Port Arms and Kings Head.
The August Bank Holiday Weekend Food & Drink Festival was a great place to listen to the live music and have a relaxing arvo.
Good Chinese, and Indian takeaways plus Fish & Chips near the seafront.
Easy trip to Sandwich Bay for low tide walks to check out the shipwrecks and B17 bomber remains.
My husband & I recently moved to England and needed a place to stay, while we found housing, car etc. The Anne Boylne escape was the perfect choice. The room was spacious, immaculate, bed was beautifully fitted with fabulous bedding. Our bedding, towels, etc was changed often. The owners, Vivian & Barry were ever so helpful during our 14 day stay. They made sure we were comfortable and looked after us very well. Highly recommend! Beautifully decorated room. Spotlessly clean. great little fridge. Excellent coffee maker. Secondary glazing, kept the room quiet, right next to Deal Castle road. Powerful shower. Towels that smell great, some hotel towel are laundry cleaned and don't smell nice. Comfortable bed. Bathroom extract fan working. Everything worked, nothing broken like some places. Really clear instructions for everything. Everything thought through to give a great stay.
The sea view was absolutely amazing, this hotel is very well located and not far from the train station. The bed was comfortable and there was enough space in the bedroom. The price to stay at Waterfront hotel was very affordable. The staff was overall friendly and professional. We really appreciated to be able to leave our bags at the hotel after our check-out as our train was only later in the day, so we did not have to carry our bags all day.
Great location, right on the seafront. Lovely friendly staff. Room was lovely, we had the best view outside our window. The hotel doesn't do food but we had cereals and milk in the fridge. The bar was lovely and cosy. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would 100% stay here again when we come back to Deal.
Overall Deal is a beautiful friendly place to stay
Used to go right through Deal from Whitsable to Walmer and back again. Didn't realize how much there is to do. Best day out was the 2 mile walk along the sea front from Deal castle to Walmer castle where you can see Wellingtons boots and the room he died in.
Location right by the sea but also a parking lot.
Breakfast was okay, served on plates with one of the choices on the menu, no buffet. A old fashioned hotel with charming rooms, but lacking charm downstairs and in breakfast room.
Glebe House is a beautiful house in a perfect location for exploring Walmer & Deal and the beautiful coast. Great local coastal walks. Historic Deal, quaint little streets with range of independent shops.
there was a definite “beach” charm. most all amenities were provided with some nice extra touches. was hoping for some water view, it a short walk away to enjoy the beauty and charm of the Deal coast.
Breakfast was excellent. The evening meal was also excellent particularly steak night on Thursday. Location was 1 mile outside Deal and central to that part of the Kent coast.
Very pleased to have found this hotel last minute. Great location, lovely room with a sea view (no.15) - superb breakfast and dinner served, and above all, wonderful staff!👍🏽
The room was lovely - spacious, clean, quiet and with lots of nice touches. The breakfast was incredible! perfect place for a mini break exploring Deal from London.
