Room was comfy. Great location in Melrose with dedicated parking. When I mentioned I had to leave early and would miss breakfast they offered a slightly earlier time so I didn't miss out 🙂 oh and ate in the restaurant for dinner the night before, it was yummy.

Our hosts were friendly and welcoming. We really appreciated the well stocked bar and set evening meal which was good value and saved us having to go out to find somewhere to eat after a day's walk. Great breakfast too.

It is also perfect for walking in the amazing countryside around the river Tweed and the Eildon hills, with numerous waymarked trails of varying distances and times.
