Nothing, the room was being cleaned and the carpets were all wet.
I didn’t feel comfortable with the wet carpet and would not stay here again

Fantastic, kerb appeal, clean, tidy, well maintained.
Inside just as presentable, very clean.
Our Family Room was huge. Would suggest an overhead main light and a spot light over the tea coffee making area.
The bathroom door had a dodgy handle on the inside, which we mentioned to the Receptionist on checkout, she then proceeded to type on the computer our concern.
All the staff we encountered throughout our stay, were polite, courteous and friendly, reception staff extremely helpful, with the various questions we had regarding transport, as we were new to the area.
Situated 15 minutes' away by train from Gatwick Airport and central London, EasyHotel Croydon offers accommodation with air conditioning and en-suite bathrooms.
Midway between central London and Gatwick Airport, Croydon is a shopping haven. Hundreds of stores are found under the glass-roofed Whitgift Centre and the even more modern Centrale complex.
This thriving retail industry is one factor contributing to the town being London’s 3rd most important business area, so naturally it has its fair share of skyscrapers. Also tall is the red-brick Croydon Clocktower, housing the town museum, and attached to the town hall overlooking Queen’s Gardens.
Opposite is Fairfield Halls, a large arts venue behind which run train lines connecting East Croydon Station to London Victoria in one direction, and Gatwick and Brighton in the other. Modern trams also link the town to other suburbs. Croydon used to have its own airport (once more important than Heathrow) and its former terminal is a museum open one Sunday a month.
The town minster houses tombs of some archbishops of Canterbury and their summer residence was Croydon Palace, now a school. Much more famous is the BRIT School which has nurtured musical artists including Adele, Jessie J and Katie Melua.
The Croydon accommodation on Booking.com includes 4-star hotels with pools, guest houses with parking and cheap apartments. In the Borough of Croydon are Addington, home of an opulent palace, and neighbouring Shirley with its Grade II-listed windmill.

Paying for breakfast hot or cold £10 is not on & paying for parking when you’re booked to stay & saying it’s first come first served is not on especially if you’re a woman on your own from out of town

Great view. A few things were broken in the unit.
Great view. A few things were broken in the unit. Well located near the train, easy to get to London and food.
200 pound deposit is not possible when booked at short notice as an international traveller. An international transfer cannot happen that quickly and cash was not accepted. Just not practical. Thanks to the lady who dropped the key, she was great.

It's a real dump compared to when I lived there 8 years ago. Was visiting friends and that's the only reason I was there. Transport is good and there's masses of eateries to choose from. A good cinema but it's just masses of housing, roadworks and traffic jams

Good transportation to London, 15mins into London via overground rail. Good link to the underground into central London. Good and big malls around the area, many eateries and easy access to Gatwick in 15 minutes via East Croydon Station.

I grew up near Croydon and it has changed a great deal, It has good transport and access to shops. It is fairly built up in some areas but has a good community spirit and some older buildings do remain.
Coulsdon is in a more leafy part of the borough and I enjoyed staying in the Coulsdon Manor Hotel.
The hotel was situated in a leafy suburb with a large and safe car park. It is surrounded by the golf course so is perfectly quiet. The restaurant with good with a good choice of meals. The personnel were very agreeable and helpful. The bus to Croydon Station left from the bottom of the hotel drive so central London was only three quarters of an hour away by public transport.
I like the staff they were really helpful and accommodated me really well. I like the room I was given because it looks like a luxury suite to me and it was very comfortable and cosy and it is close to the West and East Croydon station within a walking distance from each other and also the town centre. I really enjoyed my stay here.
The apartment by is in a secure building with a concierge. The apartment itself is very well laid out with nice, clean and comfortable furniture. 10 mins walking distance nice to East Croydon for fast trains to London or Brighton
Great welcome, cupcakes in room, spacious, great bed, generous breakfast, good TV and wifi, very near East Croydon train station. Loved the cold rinks (infused water and fresh juice). Above average hotel.
It was comparably cheap and very close to the East Croydon Train Station. Due to the fact that I had business nearby a perfect location. Also a lot of restaurants and coffee places.
