The place hasn't changed much since the time I lived two miles away prior to going to University-including a very high level of traffic, much of which was surely supposed to have been eradicated when the A3095 was re-routed to avoid the town in the late 80s. Maybe an additional bypass for other routes into and out of the town is required?

I was not informed that there would be no breakfast and the dining room was closed. Having arrived by train in the evening and with no car this meant searching for somewhere to buy something for breakfast. We walked to a local pub for dinner and bought sandwiches from a local petrol station. On arrival, there were also no toiletries in the room. Fortunately I usually bring my own but it was disappointing after we had been told the hotel had a good reputation.

The staff! Everybody is genuinely welcoming, friendly, professional, makes you feel at home. We have stayed more than 5 times, every time we enjoy the personal touch. The hotel offers excellent value for money, is clean and has everything you need. The owner, Said (Sahid?), is a great host.

We travelled as a family of 6 with a young baby (5 months) . The hotel made a real effort to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The rooms and standard of service were exceptional and the staff worked hard to make our stay a success.

We didn’t have breakfast in the hotel as we thought it was expensive at £15 and in fact saw no one in the breakfast room when we left
