The staff were very friendly throughout our stay. The room was very comfortable and clean with a huge lovely bed! The shower was amazing.
Breakfast was fantastic with lots of choice. I will definitely return.

Charming old building, not sure if it's 17 or 18C. Big room, pretty view out of back window, big "sleigh" beds, which were comfortable. Bathrooms quite basic and a bit tired, but that was fine - they were clean and the whole thing good value for money.

Attending university open day. Traveled for 8 hours and arrived at 11pm. So easy to just turn up and go to bed, lovely extra touch of tea and milk (absolute joy when I walked in and saw that). Left by 8.30 the next day. Could not of been easier - it was just perfect for our needs. Thank you

Enjoyed being in the pub which served good beer and had a friendly atmosphere.The towels and linen were excellent and the bed comfortable. Location was very good and we found parking outside.
The chip shop close by was excellent as was Valentines restaurant across the road .
