It was just what we needed for a stopover on a long journey. Pleasant, clean...'no frills' but all round did the job.

Very warm welcome, early check-in. The lady at reception was very polite and welcoming. Perfect location. The room was fantastic. The food was lovely in the restaurant and staff.

The whole cottage is well maintained, clean and welcoming...
The whole cottage is well maintained, clean and welcoming and was our second stay this year. The bedrooms are spacious and the master room is more like a suite with a great bed.The shower is good as well. The kitchen and dining area is very well equipped and you do not need to take anything and there are several supermarkets close by. The local coffee shops are good and there is one a few doors away from the cottage which is superb. In the evening we went to Barlborough which is close by which has more evening pubs/eating places.
