There's not an awful lot at Cleobury Mortimer but there are other places to visit around the area. It's nice to sit by the church and watch what's going on. Plenty of tractors and farm equipment etc.

Busy main street - typically rural village though not particularly inspiring. Ludlow; Tenbury Wells; Berrington Hall (NT); Attingham Park and Hall (NT); Leominster and Bewdley (plus museum) all worth a visit.

a wonderful town on the half way between the historic towns of Ludlow and Kidderminster. The town has a wonderful character of its own, many historic buildings, and a good selection of places to eat and spend an evening. the pubs all have a very welcoming atmosphere. We visited for a walking break, and we were very well looked after. the countryside around the town is stunning, with great views of the Clee hills to the north and the rolling hills of Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Wales to the South. the church is stunning with its crooked spire. we loved the town. thank you for making us feel so welcome.

Your categories below (in No. 4) for this historic small town are not sufficiently listed - you have not included this special place in any of the categories below. It's a wonderful market town, listed in the Doomesday book. The church is remarkable and you need to focus on the history of the place. You can sell this town in terms of it's ancient history. For example, the base of the church tower is Norman and an exceptionally early and fine example.

It is a very pleasant small town, everything needed for a few days' stay. Some of the shops sell leaflets of local walks. I think there were 10 available walks starting from the town' We tried the river one and the scenery was delightful. Plenty of cafes and restaurants too. We had a lovely meal at the Thai restaurant on the main street, and the indian one looked great too.
