Great parking, excellent location, great selection of tea and coffee in the room, reasonable bathroom with excellent toilet paper and a strong shower, decent cooling in the room though we had to have it on all the time (ground floor, didn't feel safe leaving window open for ventilation), nice friendly staff and an adequate breakfast which just lacked fresh fruit.
Set on the River Thames opposite Hampton Court Palace, the The Mitre, Hampton Court has a rich history as a place to stay, dating back as far as Charles II in 1665.

Breakfast was fabulous - those sausages!!! Daniel and I were nearly busting, but we couldn’t stop eating!! Both proprietors are wonderful, warm, friendly, caring but incredibly professional people, who make a big difference in the world of hospitality. Comfy room, great location - we will be back!!

Visit Platform 3 a home brewed pub. Tends to open Thursday - sunday if dry (squeeze 10 people in). Lovely atmosphere, buy fish n.chips or curry up the road and dine al fresco.
Local train drivers always toot as they leave.
The hotel was lovely the staff were lovely friendly and helpful. The room was spotless with a excellent shower safe ironing board and iron. Coffee tea facilities as well. We ate at the hotel in the evening the food was superb. My only niggle was we asked for a quiet room but was given one overlooking the beer garden. Which was full and quite lively till about 11.30pm.
Great place to be. Super host, restaurant and bar. Enjoyed very much the Sunday Roast. Very close to the railway station so we could leave for a weekend in London while we could leave our car parked at the secured parking of the hotel. The room was great, super beds, honest bar and plenty of coffee and tea to choose from. Highly recommend this place
