It give us the opportunity to experience what it was like to live in a 19th century manor. The bedrooms were fantastic and the views are to die for.

We were in the courtyard room, which is modernly decorated, although the building is a couple of hundred years old.

Beautiful location. The cottage was lovely, spotless and had everything you need for a comfortable relaxing stay. The owners were lovely too and very attentive, they even supplied a loaf of bread, milk and biscuits for our arrival. We were staying at the cottage for a nearby family wedding and Charles, one of the owners of the cottage, came and picked us up from the venue to bring us back to the cottage at the end of the evening which we were very grateful for.

Fantastic location in small friendly town. We were a group of 7 and there was plenty of room for us all to be together or have some quiet time when needed.

The location was very rural (it is on a farm) and it felt as if we were staying in the countryside. We are walkers and were able to walk directly from the property. The room was cosy and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay.

A truly wonderful hotel. The room was amazing and the staff were extremely kind, thoughtful and helpful. We requested a sharing platter for us to have in the room and it was delicious. We had explained our dietary needs and the chef had been imaginative and creative. A fabulous treat for our wedding night.
The hotel retains its victorian character, the staff were helpful and made our stay very comfortable. The evening meal was brilliant and our breakfast delicious, wouldn’t hesitate to book again
