Thistle London Heathrow Terminal 5, hotel in Chertsey

Thistle Heathrow situated at Terminal 5, is the perfect choice if you need a hotel near London Heathrow Airport or before heading off on your holidays.

Convenience for pod transfer to and from T5. Restaurant and bar were not crowded and no advance booking was required. I did not use the car park but noted that there was plenty of room and am likely to use it in the future. Room was small but perfectly satisfactory for one night.

A convenient and relaxed place to stay just off the M25 and M3. A good stop over if travelling for work or pleasure. Easy train link to London. Nice campsites nearby as well as pubs and hotels. Attractive area to explore.

We only stayed for one night even though we had booked 3 . Didn't go to Chertsey, We were so cross that the cabin I had booked from the photo a few months ago just wasn't there !! A converted single garage just wasn't what we were expecting...or wanted !@

We stayed in Chertsey for a trip to Thorpe Park which was a 5 minute drive away so great location. Next door to The Crown where we stayed was a Pizza Express where we dined the first evening. Did not explore the area otherwise.

I was born in Chertsey but haven't had much time to revisit all of the lovely open walking and cycling routes close to the town centre. The history of the long gone Abbey and museum are fascinating around the vicinity of the Crown Hotel. I would recommend Abbey Grounds, Chertsey River walks and the Meads for lovely walks and parks. There are many activities for singles, couples and families with nearby rivers and towns, let alone London and train services.

Great walks by the Thames. Watched boats go through the lock and waved to boat owners. Good taxi service. Close to Woking for shopping (,great centre) as well as theatre and cinema also in shopping centre. Car parking rather confusing though.

The hotel is beautiful and set in gorgeously green grounds, our room was opposite the woods and there are several walking routes around the grounds. The breakfast was exceptional and we ate dinner one night in the Fox Dinning Room; food, wine and service were all amamzing. As a bonus the breakfast and dining room are beautifully decorated spaces. The spa facilities were superb! We had amazing weather all weekend and especially enjoyed the hammocks in the Spa Garden and the natual outdoor plung pool!

They had few guests and I believe we were upgraded in rooms. We booked a queen bed and were in a much bigger room. It was the last night of our trip and that space really help us gather our things and pack for the trip home. The restaurant and bar downstairs were fun. We chatted with some of the other bar patrons for quite some time. We had originally planned to eat elsewhere but our conversations lead us to staying in for the evening (we had already gone out to see the town when we first arrived).

Great guest house. Clean and tidy. We stayed over for 2 nights, taking a trip into London one day via train from Chertsey station which is just a few miles away, and also a trip to thorpe park, again, only a few miles away. Ideal place to stay for these 2 reasons. Would definitely stay again when going to London, or nearby theme parks

Beautiful terrace with some fantastic view of Chertsey. Lots of local amenities nearby. Perfect! We hope to make this our regular stay when we visit my son at university!

The rooms and hotel were good but there was no internet and no phone connectivity in any area of the hotel, restaurant, bar or any rooms. No member of staff could either offer an explanation or try and solve it so we had to go to a pub down the road to get some internet and we subsequently had dinner there instead.

This is my go to flat when I visit Chertsey. Centrally located and convenient for the station with a handy parking space , but also quiet and very secure. The staff are very easy to get hold of and attentive. I highly recommend this flat if you're in the area.

Breakfast was good. A bit dry on the first morning but after that was good. Eating areas were good. Well spaced and clean. Location of hotel was perfect for us and is the reason we chose it. Close to Thames paths. All staff were friendly and helpful.
