Was OK for an overnight stop. Am disabled on crutches. I had an accessible room . The bed was too low for me and too soft. The breakfast was small for a full English. I thought it was a bit overpriced at £135 a night

We stayed in Chertsey for a trip to Thorpe Park which was a 5 minute drive away so great location. Next door to The Crown where we stayed was a Pizza Express where we dined the first evening. Did not explore the area otherwise.

I was born in Chertsey but haven't had much time to revisit all of the lovely open walking and cycling routes close to the town centre. The history of the long gone Abbey and museum are fascinating around the vicinity of the Crown Hotel. I would recommend Abbey Grounds, Chertsey River walks and the Meads for lovely walks and parks. There are many activities for singles, couples and families with nearby rivers and towns, let alone London and train services.

Great walks by the Thames.
Great walks by the Thames. Watched boats go through the lock and waved to boat owners. Good taxi service. Close to Woking for shopping (,great centre) as well as theatre and cinema also in shopping centre. Car parking rather confusing though.
Probably its the best and only place you can stay in Chertsey.
Very central and historical building with great restaurant right inside the building
English breakfast was great, the reception staff was friendly and helpful.
Hotels has a historical flair.
Very comfortable bed and ambient of the room.
We requested a room close to the area where we were attending a wedding an were given Room 1 which was a brilliant location. We really appreciated this as it made our stay at the hotel a lot easier. Terrace and bar area and then later on the clubhouse - all lovely areas for the wedding we attended.
