Excellent rooms, very clean, very spacious. Handy parking and very friendly hotel staff. The location was handy for where we were headed. I can't fault the rooms one bit. I don't know what the prices are like in the area but I found it to be excellent value for money!

We only stayed for one night even though we had booked 3 . Didn't go to Chertsey,
We were so cross that the cabin I had booked from the photo a few months ago just wasn't there !! A converted single garage just wasn't what we were expecting...or wanted !@

We stayed in Chertsey for a trip to Thorpe Park which was a 5 minute drive away so great location. Next door to The Crown where we stayed was a Pizza Express where we dined the first evening. Did not explore the area otherwise.

I was born in Chertsey but haven't had much time to revisit all of the lovely open walking and cycling routes close to the town centre. The history of the long gone Abbey and museum are fascinating around the vicinity of the Crown Hotel. I would recommend Abbey Grounds, Chertsey River walks and the Meads for lovely walks and parks. There are many activities for singles, couples and families with nearby rivers and towns, let alone London and train services.

Great walks by the Thames.
Great walks by the Thames. Watched boats go through the lock and waved to boat owners. Good taxi service. Close to Woking for shopping (,great centre) as well as theatre and cinema also in shopping centre. Car parking rather confusing though.

Chertsey is the quintessential authentic historical cute village / beautiful. Gr8 olde worlde authentic pubs. Gr8 restaurants to suit all budgets. We loved the olde swan as a pub and a b&b type room / but no bkf.
The hotel is beautiful and set in gorgeously green grounds, our room was opposite the woods and there are several walking routes around the grounds. The breakfast was exceptional and we ate dinner one night in the Fox Dinning Room; food, wine and service were all amamzing. As a bonus the breakfast and dining room are beautifully decorated spaces. The spa facilities were superb! We had amazing weather all weekend and especially enjoyed the hammocks in the Spa Garden and the natual outdoor plung pool!
They had few guests and I believe we were upgraded in rooms. We booked a queen bed and were in a much bigger room. It was the last night of our trip and that space really help us gather our things and pack for the trip home. The restaurant and bar downstairs were fun. We chatted with some of the other bar patrons for quite some time. We had originally planned to eat elsewhere but our conversations lead us to staying in for the evening (we had already gone out to see the town when we first arrived).
It's in a very pleasant setting right on the edge of the river adjacent to Chertsey Bridge, with outdoor dining, plus a big impressive restaurant, quite upmarket, good selection of quality meals available, well stocked bar,the checking in was very simple and straight forward, rooms excellent, large some overlooking the river and patio area,,with inward opening French doors, good quality beds and bedding, very clean, free on-site parking, rooms are very reasonably priced, what more could you ask for in London,
Absolutely lovely pub and hotel upstairs above ,
I stayed for just one night the room was very clean and had everything I needed , staff was very welcoming and polite they even helped me with my luggage to my room I would definitely stay again if that way , absolutely perfect
Only thing i missed was they didn’t serve breakfast but theirs plenty of cafes around
The property is beautiful, clean and is just like home from home. There’s all the equipment you need for a perfect stay! The property was clean and well maintained. Beautiful terrace with some fantastic view of Chertsey. Lots of local amenities nearby. Perfect! We hope to make this our regular stay when we visit my son at university!
The location is very good for the surrounding areas of Woking, Guildford Chertsey etc. The secure gate helps you to feel safe. The room was large with good facilities. The staff are friendly and welcoming and it's nice to have other people around in the other apartment like rooms, but you have your own privacy.
Staff friendly and very helpful , love this hotel been 3 times now and never disappointed, rooms clean and nicely decorated and house keeping so friendly , evening meals where really nice ,good location for Thorpe park and other attractions , hopefully back in October , thankyou so much for an amazing stay 🙂
Room was excellent - spacious, clean, quiet and well appointed. Location was ideal for my journey and great to have customer parking adjacent to the hotel.
Breakfast was excellent and the views from the restaurant / bar / breakfast room over the Thames made it a great experience.
Will stay here again.
This is my go to flat when I visit Chertsey. Centrally located and convenient for the station with a handy parking space , but also quiet and very secure.
The staff are very easy to get hold of and attentive. I highly recommend this flat if you're in the area.
Comfy clean bed and apartment
Close to thorpe park
Really friendly owners, helped me with taxis, happy to help and provide stuff if asked but not intrusive
Overall Great value for money for a stopover instead of a hotel
Will stay again if in the area
Just a quick overnight stay this time have stayed here many times. Reception was busy as computers were down but staff were calm & dealt with everyone as quick as possible. The upgraded room are excellent with great river views, hope to stay longer next time.
We loved this charming hotel in Chertsey! The rooms, common areas, and gardens were so wonderfully designed. The staff was very accommodating. This was a great way to spend an unexpected evening in London when our flight was delayed.
Really enjoyed our stay! Simon our host was very helpful. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable. It beats staying in a hotel all day long! The next time we are in the area we will definitely be trying to stay there again.
This is a clean, spacious, modern and well equipped apartment. I would recommend staying here, and would book again if I return to Chertsey. It is quiet, with no noise from the neighbours.
