The property was beautiful inside and out. It is the nicest room we have experienced in a very long time. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was beautifully presented. The cooked breakfast selection was excellent.

    We booked to visit family and it was a good location for that. Beautiful views and a quiet and peaceful site, with hosts around in case you had questions. The only real issue we had was with getting in and out of the bath, which we are not used to. The bath is quite high, the taps got in the way and there is no rail to hold on to. That said, we took care and managed! The rooms are comfortable and despite variable weather, it was sufficiently warm that we switched off the heating most of the time. Boiler was very easy to deal with. Kitchen has everything you are likely to need. A small folding step would be useful for getting things out of the top cupboards, which are quite high, but I must concede that I'm quite short!
