We loved it from the moment we arrived. We were given a very friendly welcome and were able to enjoy afternoon tea in the lounge while our room was being prepared. The room was beautifully furnished and both dinner and breakfast were first class. We've already booked to stay again later in the year.

I cannot see my negative comments about the food we had for dinner or any feedback. I said the mash was reconstituted, the frozen vegetables soggy and the pies didn’t have any recognisable pieces of meat in them. Not very pleasant to try to eat.
We were woken at 7am by our neighbour running a bath. Very noisy - like a truck hitting the room. No way could you sleep through it,

The hotel room was very basic, but had everything necessary.
The hotel room was very basic, but had everything necessary. The amazing thing is how very inexpensive it was. The hotel is close to the train station, making it very convenient for us, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. If you're into luxury this isn't your place, but if you're on a budget, you can't beat it.

It is a very interesting town, with a good local football club, a beer museum and a huge Coors brewery.
An (allegedly) haunted house called Sinai with, I believe a moat and some lovely walk ways especially along the canal towpath.

Very clean and comfortable room. The decor was nice and modern. Rainfall shower head in ensuite and towels, shower gel, hand soap and hairdryer provided.
There is air con in the room which you can adjust to your liking - it kept us lovely and cool in the hot weather we had. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious!
The pub itself has a beautiful beer garden which overlooks the trent and you can walk along the Riverside from the garden. If we come back to this area we would definitely stay in this hotel again.
Everything, we were on the 4th floor in a family room which was very spacious. The room was spotless, the bed comfortable and the shower hot. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fine and there were tea and coffee making facilities in the room and shower gel. It's very centrally located in Burton, by the train station and parking was cheap at £3.00 for 24 hours.
The property was very comfortable and had a lot of charm—it was the perfect “quintessential” British country pub with a lovely (and lively) bar area. The restaurant was actually much better than typical pub fare, which was a great surprise, and the staff were all very friendly.
Everything! Friendly welcome at reception and the room was absolutely amazing. Lovely evening dining where the food was excellent and the breakfast was one of the best we've had in our many hotel stays. Thank you for a pleasurable stay.
We were the for a football tournament so the location was perfect. Rooms and beds were lovely and the general decor of the hotel is very much in keeping with the theme.
Staff at the Spa were exceptional.
The hotel was quiet, the staff we did meet were great. the breakfast was served well and cooked to order. Ample parking for normal spaces. The site was secure and in a very good location
Very laid back open plan lounge and bar area. Tried “loaded nachos” and “chicken and pesto pasta” from the hotel menu, both of which were superb. Staff were always pleasant.
Small but adequate. Was quite close to the main centre and there is a Lidl next door. The kitchen was well equipped. The apartment was very quiet which was appreciated.
Perfect for proximity to breweries, and town centre. Was down with 5 others for Bloodstock so this was a very comfortable accommodation to come back to.
