    A very poor hotel choice.

A very poor hotel choice. No heating in room and extremely cold. No hot water. Very dangerous looking oil filled radiator in room which needed condemning. Food undercooked and expensive. Even manager said standards were very poor.

    Very cozy small town.

Very cozy small town. Despite it's size, it has everything that is needed. Everything is accessible via a short walk. The area felt very safe. The beach was nice for a walk as well. Lots of people went there with their dogs in the morning and evening. It's easy to go from there to Edinburgh via train. The journey to Edinburgh Waverley took about 30-40 minutes.

amazing views across the Firth of Forth. beautiful village and amazing country side surrounding. the beach looked amazing though we did not get the weather to enjoy it but you can see the it is very safe as even at high tide the water is shallow a long way out. good restaurants and lovely village. We all loved it.

We booked this hotel for an event in Kirkcaldy.

We booked this hotel for an event in Kirkcaldy. It turned out to be further away than we hoped (15 minutes drive) consequently we had little time to look round Burntisland but it seemed to offer little for a visitor in January. Hotel was a bit out of Burntisland and we took a walk in one morning but unfortunately the railway blocked the view and did not allow for walking along the beach

If you don`t fancy cooking there is Pubs hotel and cafes all with in walking distance serving food and drinks. Only a couple of miles away you will find supermarkets. Silver sand beach with café is also in walking distance (photos below)

We stayed 6 nights in Burntisland, by the 3rd day, we felt like it was "our town". Everyone was so friendly. Once we told anyone that this was our first time in Scotland, they seemed eager to answer our questions and suggest little things make our visit more enjoyable. There are no chain restaurants or businesses in Burntisland. That (and the cheerful people) is what makes it such a charming town. The Links Fish and Chips was The BEST

The studio is perfect for a short stay, nice kitchen and bathroom and cosy living / bedroom. Parking our car was no problem. Shops are close by and the railway station around the corner. Easy access to Edinburgh, which is less then 40 minutes by train (bicycles allowed for free) or exploring the area to the North East of Burntisland.

The look of the building, the location and the bed. It was so comfortable. I knew that this hotel didn't do breakfast so I made adjustments.
