Really nice hotel. Superbly furnished public rooms. Lovely bedroom with excellent bed and linen. Very comfortable. Pre-booked dinner was very good, well worth doing and honesty bar was well stocked. Excellent breakfast. Host very knowledgeable about Dartmoor and surrounding area.

Cosy small and very clean room ❤️ Judith the owner is a lovely lady. Got to meet some of her Pony’s, and saw the Llamas 🦙 and Donkeys in the field opposite are room.

Beautiful gardens and views. Friendly, helpful reception staff. Decent sized sunny room with good supply of tea, coffee and milk. Very peaceful. Good breakfast. Plenty of parking.

Charming typical Devon village with great pub and Landlord. Roads are small and parking can be difficult but always available somewhere in the village. Being elevated has extensive views of rolling Dartmoor countryside. Only negative is the village shop and Post Office closed sometime ago so there are no petrol or food shops in the village.
