Room smelt heavily of cigarettes. Walls covered in murky, struggled to get room cleaned.

Great location for what we needed, to be able to get around places we had planned to visit.
We opted for the breakfast throughout or stay which was good value for money. Buffet breakfast with plenty of choice, and good quality food. Staff were were pleasant and friendly, and worked very efficiently turning the breakfast room round to restaurant style again once breakfast was over.

I stayed at Hollins Hall to attend the Ilkley Tennis Tournament. It was about 8 miles away. It was used by some players and coaches. I had stayed there when it was owned by Marriott. It was nice then, I would say now that it is a little further downmarket ( number of coach tours use it) but for the price it represents good value.
The one thing I really like are the number of lounges, soft seats where you can take a drink to relax and not feel that you are in a busy loud bar.

We went to a concert at St George's Hall - just a 30 second stroll from the hotel. A lot of redevelopment work taking place currently. Some lovely old buildings but we didn't get the chance to explore the shopping areas. Wetherspoons is only a 5 min stroll away. We ate there and it was excellent.

Plenty to see and do, we went specifically for a show but there are various museums, theatres and attractions. Also recommend having a curry as Bradford is supposed to be the curry capital of the UK.
Only issue is major roadworks are going on in the city centre in preparation for city of culture in 2025 making navigation tricky for non-locals.

The city has many homeless young people and my heart felt for these youngsters. I did give money I don't like these new shopping malls the food was terrible there doesn't seem to be much choice in cuisine the road system was chaotic and at times frightening with so much homelessness...

We were there on a theatre visit.
We were there on a theatre visit. The city is in the middle of major refurbishment in the centre and many of the roads were closed to traffic but we were able to walk from the hotel to the theatre quite comfortably.
I like the look of the city and everyone we met seemed friendly.
The wi-fi signal was very strong. It just worked straight away. Usually, in hotels, you have to sign in, giving personal contact details before the wi-fi will work, but that was not the case here. As there are no staff, I was a little nervous that codes and key information would not be available until the day of arrival. I began my journey to Bradford that morning with no more than hope in my heart. I needn't have worried, as the messages came through and the check-in procedure worked well.
I'm glad that I finally got to book the Best Western Bradford Guide Post Hotel for this visit to Bradford. I stayed there for a couple of nights and I loved the comfortable king size bed and the tasty breakfast. The staff were all friendly and helpful - thank you Emily for being so willing to help and smiling. My room number 15 was quiet and the shower bath was powerful and good. I loved the location too because of it being close to where I wanted to go and had plenty of car parking.
This is the second visit to this hotel as it's so near the places I needed to visit, it's in an ideal location, there's a free car park and the entrance is clean and tidy, staff are amazing and always there to help, the restaurant has good opening hours and the food is really very good, breakfast has every thing you need. This is the only hotel I would stay if I go to Bradford again.
Hotel was amazing. Lovely warm cosy and above all....quiet!!
The host was amazing went above and beyond before and after our stay to ensure everything was ready as it was a last min booking and to ensure we were happy after the stay. The rooms were a lovely standard. Soundproofed and very relaxing. This place is a hidden treasure in bradford.
We used it as a stop over close to Leeds Bradford airport, so we only needed it for a bed as we checked out 3:45am!! The staff were super friendly and they had a treasure hunt for the kids which was a bonus. The hotel was clean, some decor a little dated and stairwells had an 'old' scent but overall great value for money for what we needed.
I can make no negative comments on Leonardo Bradford. I stayed in a Leonardo Hotel in Germany and it was not as
clean or comfortable as Bradford. Breakfast was very good, and all the staff I spoke with were helpful pleasant and clear in their dealings with me. For the price, food, cleanliness, rooms etc all great.
The whole experience was wonderful. The staff from Kevin; Lynsey and Nicola were absolutely fantastic. They could not do more to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. The food was absolutely lovely and the chef kindly fitted me in. No complaints what so ever for me. I will recommend the hotel
Just a quick one-night stay en route to North Yorkshire. The hotel and the room were both pleasant and luxurious: a very large, clean room with excellent facilities including a bath. Very good value indeed. The hotel is directly opposite Bradford Interchange bus and railway station.
A rather large hotel conveniently located near the main train/bus station (the Interchange).
The town center is within a few minutes walk.
The hotel is well looked after, the staff are pleasant and friendly.
The bathroom in my room was modern and nice.
Free parking and reasonable rates make this a good hotel for travelling tourists. Well located for transport but also reasonably quiet for so close to Shipley. Overlooking the canal was nice. Walking distance to all that Saltaire offers.
