The hotel is easy to find, and near the M61. No traffic noise in spite of being in a busy location, plenty of parking. There are a lot of rooms, so with some of them, the walk from reception is considerable. The room was spacious enough, temperate, and had everything you'd need in it for a one night stay.
Situated just off the M61 motorway, with views over Winter Hill and the West Pennine Moors on the outskirts of Bolton, The Mercury has a lively bar and nightly entertainment.

Free parking free WiFi and tea / coffee facilities in room. Only stayed here as was attending a family party at that venue and was convenient. We did have hot water.

A very warm and genuine welcome from our hosts who were hospitable, helpful and informative. The facilities were smart, clean and comfortable - very efficient shower and a good supply of towels and toiletries. Breakfast was perfectly cooked, tasty and the service was excellent. Great value for money and we would happily stay again.

I was there for my Son's Wedding, which was at Bolton School. This place was a beautiful setting for a wedding and the Staff were so helpful and charming.
It was also the weekend for the Bolton Good Fest. This is a not to be missed experience. You can taste and buy food from all over the North West, which is great boost for local produce

Bolton has some fantastic green areas around the town just outside the centre. lots of beautiful walks and country parks. definitely did not expect the wider beauty of the back roads and hills at the foot of Bolton. Friendly people and lots of lovely cultural buildings and sights. close access also to Manchester and the lovely centre of Bury and bury market

I am from Bolton, but live overseas.
I am from Bolton, but live overseas. Love the town hall area, but the shops I used to know are not there anymore. Sad to say many major shops gone.
Queen's Park is a lovely place to feed the birds and the squirrels at the pond area. Bought wild bird food from Poundland.
Barrow Bridge and Moss Bank Park also very pleasant to walk through on a sunny day.
The museum is a pleasant and interesting place with a souvenir shop too. Why they had to move the library out of the same building is a mystery to me. Buses usually on time and available during the week and Saturdays.
Good self service laundrettes available which proved helpful when running out of clothes.
The Hotel room was so lovely!, spacious, clean. Staff were so helpful and Friendly. Hannah greeted me at check in and provided helpful information. At breakfast Alpesh greeted me with a fabulous smile, asked me my allergy info and then personally walked me round the breakfast bar and gave me information on items which I found really helpful. He made me feel at ease.
We loved everything about Last Drop. We were super close to the family we wanted to see, and when we were done, the pool at the hotel was a welcome break. Thank you!
