Everything was great but the bed was a bit soft for my personal preference. Sarah provided a vegetarian breakfast.

A holiday in Bodmin Moor offers a blend of natural beauty, rich history, and tranquillity. This rugged landscape in Cornwall, with its sweeping moorlands and granite tors, provides a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy hiking, cycling, and horse riding along scenic trails, with stunning views that change with the seasons. The area is steeped in history, featuring ancient stone circles, the famed Jamaica Inn, and Bodmin Jail, offering fascinating insights into the past. Wildlife watchers can spot rare birds, while those seeking serenity can find peace in the vast open spaces and star-filled skies at night. Local villages, such as St. Neot and Blisland, charm visitors with their quaint pubs and welcoming community spirit. A holiday in Bodmin Moor is an opportunity to reconnect with nature, explore historical sites, and experience the unique Cornish culture.

A busy town and lots of traffic.
A busy town and lots of traffic. Worth exploring, but I didn't have the time, other than looking at the old jail. Good mid-way stopping point if travelling further into Cornwall.
The hotel served a very good breakfast and the evening meal was well prepared: the lamb that I had was beautifully cooked. The options for puddings were mainly cake-based and personally, I found my meringue option a tad sweet (as one might expect) with no pouring cream to calm it down!

Was visiting a sick relative in the hospital & hotel very convenient for that. Have always been in transit elsewhere so didn't know the town well. So attractive and clean. Very friendly people who readily helped direct or help in other ways. I have relatives who came from Probus and Devonshire so visited both counties from 1946 onwards and think changes by and large sensitive and well carried out. The beauty of the county and rural nature has been largely preserved and if controlled population increase measures are sympathetically controlled, the character of the county ought to be preserved along with its beauty.

A great experience, the renovation work is amazing throughout the hotel! We only stayed there for 1 night but we would have liked to have spend more time.
Comfortable beds, and a great spacious bathroom.
Great breakfast options.
Would be great to have gluten free options in the room service menu.
Waterside was a great, dog friendly, convenient and as described facility. The accommodation was spacious, very well equipped and included a henry hoover, decent kitchenware, airers, fan, welcome pack and even an umbrella. The bed was comfortable, lots of linen was provided and it all felt clean. The area was peaceful but centrally located for sightseeing around Cornwall. There was a really useful information sheet showing details of local beaches and postcodes. we would certainly return and not hesitate to recommend to friends.
Trevidgeowe Farm is an excellent location for visiting Bodmin and surrounding areas.
A beautiful house where we spent 2 nights in a very spacious Delux King Room. Very comfortable bed, large Ensuite with double walk in shower all beautifully decorated.
Excellant range of continental breakfast including homemade grenola and bread.
Our first choice will be to stay here when we next visit cornwall in the summer.
Emma your hostess will make you most welcome.
Staff were really friendly and helpful, especially our waitress Jane. The restaurant had a good selection of meals and had a lovely view over the golf course. There was a good choice of breakfast too. Service was very quick. There was a large comfortable lounge area too, again with views over the golf course. The hotel is in an excellent position for exploring Cornwall both North and South.
Beautifully renovated apartment In nice housing area. The layout of the apartment is very well designed and the space has wonderful natural light, good views out of the dorma windows. Kitchen well equipped. Very clean and comfy stay.
I wasn’t on holiday, it was a place to stay to be close in proximity to visit my dad at Bodmin Hospital. The apartment became my sanctuary. Thank you.
Lots of space. If you were staying a while you would easily be able to unpack properly. Good breakfast. Swimming pool available in summer.
Very useful folder of information about the hotel and local area. Including the free Wi-Fi code - always appreciate not having to pay for Wi-Fi.
Hotel is in an excellent location for accessing both north and south coast of Cornwall.
John was a fabulous host throughout my stay. There was an afternoon tea set out for my arrival with proper cornish clotted cream and delicious scones and milk in the fridge. Everything I needed was there and more besides. Fantastic location, great layout and facilities and I can imagine the evenings spend on the decking area would be beautiful in the summer.
In the hotel everything was just right. I was nice, it was clean and well located. The hotel staff has exceeded my expectation, everyone was super-friendly, we've received warm welcome and every query or ask was quickly resolved. It was a very nice and comfortable stay over. I'd recommend Holiday Inn Express - Bodmin to anyone looking for a stay in the area.
The room was a good size with comfortable chairs and a table to sit round good size bathroom and comfortable bed.
The breakfast were cooked to order along with a good selection of Cereals and juices.
The evening meals are cooked to order so very fresh.

Angie is a great host, she went far and beyond to

The area is very quite.
Bodmin is a central location to anyone who would like
to visit Cornwall
Located short walk from city bus stop, close to amenities and attractions in Bodmin. Appreciated the little extras provided by the host in addition to the usual tea and coffee that are provided by all B&Bs, Guest Houses and hotels. Our host was able to provide help with directions to local attractions which was appreciated.
The piece and quiet of this cottages location and the thoughtfulness of the host such as the welcome drinks and even treats for our dog that was a nice touch. very clean and tidy cottage ideal for exploring Cornwall and right in centre of bodmin Moor we would definitely stay again when next in Cornwall
The friendliness and helpfulness of one of the members of staff in particular. We liked the personal attention.
The value for money - a hotel with some character, comfortable, with a roomy bedroom; it was a pleasant surprise as I think it is unusual nowadays.
Lovely, nicely furnished room with a comfortable bed and private bathroom. Spotlessly clean. Angie was a warm, welcoming host and quite helpful about the area. Bodmin is an interesting Cornish town with several interesting sites and attractions.
Lovely setting, lovely home! Kim is the perfect hostess, providing us with a delicious full breakfast each day. Kim is very knowledgeable about the area and was more than helpful with helping us decide what to see and do!
The catering both at breakfast and in the evening is excellent as is the service. Accommodation is compact but we'll designed, modern and very clean. The village is lovely and we'll located for touring the area.
This was a once in a lifetime birthday treat for me. I have always loved Bodmin Jail and have visited many times, and having the chance to stay there was just amazing. It is pricey, but completely worth it.
We had to book a one night stay because of the winds we had to leave our tent.
Everyone who worked at the hotel was wonderful.
The hotel was spotlessly clean and we had a lovely restful stay.
