An ok stay really. Receptionist quite unhelpful. Was told no food because chef was away on holiday! When asked if she could point to anywhere local we could get food she replied - no not really.
Rooms were clean if very dated and shower didn’t work.
Breakfast was ok.

The evening meal was lovely. The alfresco dinning area is great ( the lounge 101 ) The pizzas are amazing. Cooked in a wood fired oven in front of you.

The pub is slowly being modernised. And it is looking good down stairs.
The view from are window Was Lovely of a nice Moden house and a field of sheep.
The brown bread a breakfast was lush. The bacon was thick and tasty.

The friendly welcome and hospitality of the owner Ken. The room was very pleasant, clean, and the kitchen was well equipped. We were also made to feel very welcome in the bar by the locals! Would stay again when we return to the area.
