The beautiful location and the lodge was cosy - I slept well. I was made very welcome when I arrived and someone was on hand should I have any queries. My dog was also made welcome - there were treats, bowls, and a pet blanket for her.

Catherine was so helpful with leaflets and maps of places to see in the area. Wish her family well and daughter Katie on her new adventures. The breakfast was outstanding. Pre arrival communication with information from the owners was excellent, from how to find them to where to eat and local landmarks and entertainment. On arrival our greeting from the hosts was genuine and friendly and throughout the stay we were so well looked after, including a visit to their local. The room and its facilities was second to none - There was everything we needed and more, so many lovely little touches. A fabulous breakfast with all you could possibly eat was just a perfect start to our day
