The cottage was extremely well presented and clean throughout. You could tell a great deal of thought had been put into designing and equipping the cottage to provide everything their guests would need. The views from the cottage were over rolling countryside yet it was conveniently located. The host was friendly and welcoming. We’ll definitely stay again the next time we’re in the area.

Overall breakfast was good but the coffee quality was poor and no one around for service. Eggs were only scrambled so I went into the kitchen to ask for poached. What arrived was perfectly cooked but not everyone has my nerve to do this. For £150+ per night I would expect service at breakfast for tea and coffee and eggs choice.
Young man from Afghanistan on reception when we arrived at lunch time on Friday was very polite and friendly. Other people on reception were not friendly but ok.

The location inside the Cathedral precinct makes it unique as well as quiet and peaceful. It was wonderful to wander the grounds after the tourists had left. The location was secure and very safe. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was excellent. Whilst it is a fairly modern building it seemed to feel intimate and special. The room was clean with a great view of the tower. We enjoyed having a drink on the roof garden. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a unique, quiet, safe and kind of spiritual place to stay.

Staff were helpful, there was a garage where we could store our bikes , the breakfast was good and though the hotel is near a busy road i didn't hear much traffic noise though this may have been different had the windows been open.

We’ve stayed there many times. Spotlessly clean. Peaceful. Ensuring a good nights sleep. Love the corner bath. Toiletries are quality. Breakfast super. Made to order.

This B&B is in a great location, everything is in walking distance with an Aldi right across the road. The rooms are clean and bed was comfortable, staff are polite, The garden here is lovely and well kept. Even though this place is situated on a busy roundabout we had no issues with traffic noise, and although we did have a couple of minor things to moan about (lets face it we are English ) it would not stop us from staying here again.
