A great village to base yourself in. Lots of activities on offer to suit all interests and a number of eateries to choose from. You don't need to travel that far to outer lying villages which also have well established set ups for tourists/ visitors.

Ballachulish is a small town in a great location - so much good hiking near by. The best thing about the town itself is the Laroach Restaurant. The dishes were so unusual, interesting, and tasty. Try the sweet potato soup if it is offered.

Annamarie was the perfect hostess - she provided a very warm welcome Nothing was too much trouble -she provided medicinal aid for my wife who was recovering from severe case of bronchitis The B & B is located in the most beautiful surroundings with mountains and lochs with exceptional views A short distance up the road is the Glen Coe Visitor Centre which is well worth a visit.... Recommend a 3 night stay particularly if the weather gods provide sunny and fine weather

attractive village next to a loch.

attractive village next to a loch. Handy reasonably short drive to Glencoe chairlift. Good place to stay for winter sports enthusiasts because if the mountain closes for bad weather Ballachulish has some good walks down by the loch and in the woods behind at low altitude so milder and more sheltered from the wind. so there is something to do and enjoy. Good spar shop to get supplies if you are self catering.

Craig Moray Cottage An immaculate, self-catering cosy cottage within easy reach of the various attractions in Ballachulish, including the local Co-Op. This lovely and comfortable accommodation was one of the few places that actually allowed us to stay one night only, as most places have a 2 night minimum stay requirement. Thank goodness we found this little place! We were so comfortable there and had everything we needed. We would go back in a heartbeat! A huge thank you to Anthony and Mairi.

This was in such an amazing location in Glencoe. Surrounded by the stone mountains. like something out of a fairy tale. My daughter and I walked the West Highland Way for a few days but then had to give into blisters and tired feet. This was such a great place to relax and hang out while my sister finished that days hike. They have a Restaurant and a couple of bar areas that were really fun to hang out at and get a great bite to eat or drink.

The host was amazing. He made a fantastic Scottish breakfast (the alternative was continental breakfast) for a fair price. He also gave us great tips on hiking trails around Glencoe and places to visit in Scotland - we took his advice and we don't regret it. In general, he helped us with anything we needed. The place has an excellent, strategic location - quiet but still close to everything we needed (supermarket, restaurants, roads).

the house and room/bathroom was absolutely terrific. the owners went above and beyond to make us comfortable, inviting us to enjoy their outdoor area, offering us countless refreshments and offering suggestions of nearby restaurants. the hosts even made us breakfast for the road since we couldn’t stay. they also supplied us with water and snacks for the road! they are lovely people and we would stay again in a heartbeat!

This is possibly the most spectacular location of any hotel/pub in the UK! The photo with the moon above the mountain was taken from my bedroom window. It is also a superb base for touring the area. The staff were wonderful, and there was a great choice of a cooked traditional Scottish breakfast or a continental breakfast. Evening meals were also great. There is a great choice of beers, all very well kept!

Very polite host lady. We received everything possible as all the information we need to be in the house. She gave us information about the restaurants in the area which was very useful and recommended some places. Unfortunately our stay was just for a night. We had a very delicious sandwiches for the breakfast to take away no matter that we leave the house early at the morning at 6am.

Privacy. Cottage is set just off the A82, out of sight and very private. Connected to the owners home but you won’t hear any noise. I have stayed there twice and will stay again. A small cosy cottage ideal for 1/2 people. Great WiFi and smart TV. Only stayed in the winter so had to cook my own food as local places largely shut. Ballachulish Co-Op is great though.

The atmosphere / vibe of the Inn, the location, the food, the staff, the amazing bar and restaurant out the back. Bonus - it was adults-only. Local musicians came and played for us on the Sunday night which really made our evening. The room was cozy, warm, the beds were really comfortable, and the views outside when you wake up of the mountains are incredible!
