Well I was really impressed with this stay, excellently run and everyone was lovely, it's not often I can say this as I can usually find alot of things that need improving. But this was one of my best stays in a long time, well done team.

Anchor Inn by Greene King Inns, hotel in Axmouth

With fantastic views overlooking the sea, this charming inn is situated in the beautiful coastal village of Beer. It features a cliff-top beer garden and a restaurant with locally caught fish.

Great location for South West coast path walkers - right by the harbour and with sea views. Decent sized room with a large and very comfortable bed. As you might expect, the beer was great! The evening meal was very good pub grub and we had an excellent cooked breakfast.

Clovelly Guest House, hotel in Axmouth

Clovelly Guest House offers accommodation in the centre of Lyme Regis on the Jurassic Coast. Free WiFi and free private parking are available. All rooms include a private en-suite bathroom.

A clever set up - a number of rooms upstairs in a fairly ordinary house with a small dining room/kitchen available for guests. Breakfast goods were provided on a "help-yourself" basis - cereals, bread, eggs, milk, juice, yoghurt etc. Having this extra space was good for writing our journal and meant we could have breakfast as early as we liked. Our room was a good size, clean and quiet (despite overlooking a car park). Clear instructions for access.

Axmouth is a little fishing village with 2 good pubs.

Axmouth is a little fishing village with 2 good pubs. Fantastic little cafe and fishing tackle shop right by the harbour and deep sea fishing trips. Seaton is right next door with shops and a supermarket, a tourist tram, fish and chip shop, etc.
