we enjoyed oyr stay at the mercure abbot wells chester the room was comfortable and very clean the staff friendly especially the lovely lady on reception . she was very helpful and gave us some advice on places to visit and attractions in the locality. much ppreciated and very helpful.

A beautifully appointed family hotel with charming staff, decent sized bedroom and a pretty good breakfast. Bar and Dinner available at reasonable price but did not participate. The grounds seem to offer tons of walking and other activities. However driving rain made it impossible to investigate! Shame really because looked like fun.
