The room was amazing! Lots of space, had a beautiful bath tub and the bed was comfy. The location was perfect just by the water. It was also handy having a place to eat across the road from the hotel

The Hotel was right on a Loch which was great, not far from Loch Lomond.
Calling it a Bespoke Hotel is right, needed an upgrade very tired, and not good value for money. Staff was mixed bag too.
We were only there for 1 night, and that was enough, and it was raining outside, so nothing to view

Hotel setting is very picturesque.
Hotel setting is very picturesque. Staff was great and very friendly. Massive credit to the chap on reception / booking in, super friendly and top advise on the area. Also spent his own time after work doing a quick go on bagpipes which really made it for us. Really deserves a mention and credit to the hotel.

Arrochar is small but pretty, and it's location is superb in two ways - 1) beautiful location at the head of Long Long and the hills behind, including the wonderful "Cobbler" (Ben Arthur); 2) Great stopping off point for longer journeys north - it's only 3 minutes drive (1.6 miles from the A 82 main road to the north.

Always book room at the front of the hotel as the rooms at the rear are by the busy noisy main road breakfast is first class and should be included in your stay good location for stopping at if you are travelling further north
The Hotel is alongside Loch Long, which offers a nice and peaceful view. When you enter the Hotel, you find a nice wee Pub, with what I would define a “rustic” decoration. Then, all the rooms (reception and restaurant) are in the same spirit. It gives to the place a warm and cosy feeling. All the staff was really helpful and professionnal.
The bedroom had a view on the Loch, a spatious bathroom and was decorated with taste.
It was really enjoyable to come back there after a hike ! We will be back 😁
This was our second stay, we stayed the week before for two nights and decided to go back this week and requested the same room as the view is amazing out to the hills and across the loch, staff where so kind to allow us to have the room again, our stay was amazing, such an amazing place an the hotel is full of character, the location is exceptional and we climbed the hill at luss, there are so many things to do and see, look forward to going back soon 😄
From the moment we arrived and were met by Jackie we felt welcomed and comfortable.. She was absolutly fabulous as was Ian her boss. They could not have been more professional yet super friendly. All the staff were lovely and very willing to share info on where to visit and what was available at the hotel. We were very happy with the restaurant and the varied menu. The fact Ian remembered our previous days preferences was impressive .
I liked the view of Loch Long and the mountains from my tiny room. I liked the elevator but only used it for moving luggage. I liked the proximity to several places including Loch Lomond, Inveraray, St Conan's Kirk, etc. I liked the staff. Since I was there for 16 nights, they got to know my face. Friendly but professional.
Had scrambled eggs every morning and tea with a beautiful view to the Loch and mountains.
- Paul was so kind and lovely during our stay. He was supplied us with information and brochures about tourism and attractions.
- The breakfast was so delicious and the vegetarian sausages and yogurts were the best sausages we have eaten in the Whole UK.
- The room was good with a wonderful view on loch long.
- Very good location
- Definitely we will return again

Everything. What a fantastic home in a beautiful area. Have been holidaying in Loch lomond for 20+ years, and this is by far the nest location i have stayed in.
Village inn down the road for bevy and a scran and plenty more bars/hotels and restaurants a 5/10min walk away. Fishing on the pier (caught 3 Mackeral no big deal guys).
Genuinely canny wait to come back.
A little gem, nestled on the northern banks of Loch Lomond. The chalet was beautifully presented with quirky touches with a Scottish flavour. Views of hills and Loch. Hotel with delicious food on site. Water-sport activities available in season. Five minutes to train station to access even more variety. Superb location to just relax or venture further afield.
Delightful cottage in village centre. Room was lovely and cosy with views over Loch Long. Friendly hosts and great breakfast. Only here for one night on way back home from further north. Had visited Arrochar previously for a longer stay in a different establishment but when I return to the area I will seek a room at Rowantreebank.
Glebe Country House is a very nice example of a classic B&B. Bernadette, the host, gave a very friendly welcome. She has lavished every corner with very nice details, and the finishes and furnishings are excellent. The setting is lovely and quiet, with a view from the front bedrooms of Loch Lomond. Breakfast was terrific.
The Arrochar Hotel provides superb views across and along Loch Long. The view across is the stunning and dramatic peak of Ben Arthur aka the Cobbler. It is a straightforward no nonsense hotel that provides efficient and friendly service, a great bar menu, tasty Scottish breakfast and of course those wonderful views.
View from room was amazing! Room was clean and bed was very comfortable, Staff where very nice and accommodating. Decor a little dated but this should be expected for the age and location of the hotel. Will definitely book again, location is exceptional, we had an amazing two nights.
Clean. All amenities present. Nice view on Loch Long and the Arrochar Alps. At the back of the house there is a narrow, but nice seating area with a hot tub. the Village Inn pub is very nice and close to the cottage. Good location for exploring the Loch Lomond area and Arrochar Alps.
Loved the room, the view of the Loch. I was very surprised to see binoculars in the room too which was great. The guest house is part of the pub next door.ocation is great. If/when I decide to visit Arrochar again I will definitely book this guest house and ask for the same room.
The location is fantastic, the views from the room were lovely and so close for access to Loch Lomond. Nice and quiet during the day around Arrochar. Three lochs way is just next to the hotel too so that was fantastic. Staff were friendly and helpful.
This review is for Tarbet hotel which is a sister hotel to claymore as we were transferred there from claymore.
1. Location was beautiful as it is situated opp the lake.
2. Room was clean
3. Full English breakfast was tasty
The combination of a pub and restaurant within the hotel. We did like the atmosphere of a real Scottish surrounding. It was comfortable and accessible. The dinner was great as well the choices you could make for breakfast.
This place is fabulous! We loved everything about it. Close to a pub, a small grocery store, a fish & chips shop and right over Loch Lomond. The views were amazing and the place was beautifully decorated. Loved it so much!
This is a coach hotel, which was not clear from
thw booking site. Our windows were not clean and the sink didn’t drain properly but the room was quiet and the view of Loch long and the
hills bery lovely.
Comfortable and in a convenient location if you want to visit Loch Lomond or if you are passing by and need a place for the night on the main road.
You can park the car in front of the hotel.
