It was ideal for what we wanted,staff were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. the breakfast next morning very good (you have to try the porridge). Overall we enjoyed our stay and would reccomend the 1664 to any of our friends.

I payed for a full cooked breakfast, but sorry to say,only 2 days of my stay not a cooked meal available. I believe the chef was away.The cold foods on offer where excellent my stay was 6 nights in all.

Beautiful old building. We had a room in the 'Courtyard annex'. The corridor smelled of chlorine and the room lacked charm. It was clean and quiet and the bed was comfortable. Food was average.

This hotel is a fantastic place. The staff and the owner are lovely, friendly people, and nothing too much bother. The room was very comfortable and clean with ample space. Great location for the accessibility to the Highlands and along the coast. Breakfast was fantastic 😍 and the bar of an evening has some great local characters!!
