The Foley, hotel in Addlestone

Situated in Claygate, The Foley has been a village pub since the 1780s. Now a coaching inn, it offers boutique-style bedrooms, a stylish pub, and a dining room. WiFi and parking are free.

Loved that Phillip called me before check in to check if we wanted twin or double rooms as I'd made a mistake on my booking, he gave a really warm welcome and then the Irish Chap was wonderful during Dinner. Excellent Dinner and breakfast, also great local walk. I will definitely be back! Absolutely outstanding customer service and value you for money.

The Oatlands Chaser by Innkeeper's Collection, hotel in Addlestone

Built on one of Henry VIII’s old hunting spots, The Oatlands Chaser by Innkeeper's Collection is located 1.5 miles from Weybridge city centre and 5 minutes’ drive from Weybridge Rail Station.

This was basically a tavern / a bed for the night and basic food, basic serviice, no facilities, no extras, seemed a wasted opportunity for what could be a very good business and a hotel of distinction.

We chose the property Addlestone because it was equidistant to the places we planned to visit - Chessington, Windsor and Legoland - during our 3 day/4 night stay. Addlestone itself offers all you could need in the way of supermarkets, restaurants and take-aways plus a station for easy access to London if required It has a super park (Victory Park) which the children enjoyed

Addlestone is not much of a place.

Addlestone is not much of a place. It has all the necessary facilities (breakfast in Tesco etc); the inhabitants are perfectly pleasant and my hotel, The Crouch Oak, though very basic, was exceptionally good value. All this made my brief stay satisfactory. However, there appears to be little, or nothing, of cultural interest or beauty here. No old quarter, as far as I could see, unlike most of these small Surrey towns. Maybe a longer stay and more investigation would have uncovered something, though I won't be booking my hols here.
