The room was very comfortable and the view over the estuary was stunning. Immaculate too.
I was travelling with two dogs however and the room is very small so not suitable for dogs. Only just enough room around the bed/furniture to put their bed. I thought the additional £80 charge for two nights for the dogs to stay was extremely high. I had misread the email and wrongly assumed that the overall charge was £20 each dog, not £20 per dog per night.
Set in Aberdyfi and only 800 metres from Aberdyfi Beach, Tŷ Treflan offers accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking.

The room was lovely, modern and clean and immaculate . The decor was tasteful. The owners came out and spoke to my husband and were lovely and friendly. There was tea and coffee with biscuits provided with a kettle and milk pods and a bottle of water which was all replenished during the second day. The room was also cleaned and tidied for us.

Clean property with heating. Has all facilities for short break. The views in the town are amazing. Car park next to the property. Check in was available even before promised time.

We wanted to visit Aberdyfi because my husband went to the Outward Bound centre 64 years ago and had been in touch. We were invited to revisit and he was given all the paperwork relating to him. He had excelled! That was the main reason for our visit but he recalled it being a lovely place and it certainly is. Font Haul where we stayed was excellent.

The circular walk (around 4.5miles) is well sign posted & provides superb views of the Aberdyfi estuary from on high - not easy as it’s a steep climb in places but well worth it for the views !!!!

Aberdyfi is beautiful on a summers day even though it gets really busy. On a wet miserable winters day 2 weeks from Christmas looked like a ghost town, with a few cafes open and pubs but no shops after 4pm. Beach is lovely, however we only went for a brief walk as weather great . Sad it didn't look festive is this down to council cutbacks you have to ask yourself?!

Beach great to walk, play and has stunning views.
Beach great to walk, play and has stunning views. We got an ice-cream from Aberdyfi ice cream shop which had plenty of flavours to choose from and was delicious. We took a day out to a local ruined castle which was a short drive away and stunning too. The pub had great food and staff, but was a short walk from beach on a road with no pavements.

The house is acceptable with all the facilities available.. the only thing is that the owner took advantage of his right to deduct money from my card afterwards, when he ripped us off for £99 pounds for very few trivial bits left, like an empty wine bottle and a nappy. I felt that this not really professional.

Lovely sandy beach and harbour plenty of places to walk both in and around. Visited Coast for a Tapas evening the wine and food was very good. Lots of lovely coffee shops for sitting outside. The Medina being one of them tucked away off the main street. Very easy to get around and lots of other places within easy access too.
The location was ideal and the parking pass to a nearby carpark made it a lot more convenient than first anticipated.
The photos don't do the quality of finish and decor justice! Beautifully furnished and decorated. Lovely white and fresh bed linen and spotlessly clean. I felt comfortable with my kids and dogs and the stair gate at the bottom of the stairs made it so easy with the dogs and their sandy paws!
The accommodation was perfect for us during our visit to Aberdyfi. The Hospitality Tray was gratefully replenished in good time and even included one of our favourite teas and biscuits. The porridge pots were an added delight and the host Jen was also most delightful. Thank you.
Second time I have stayed, great hotel with friendly helpful staff, downstairs is vibrant and all the food is good quality pub grub. The town of Aberdyfi is great to walk around, or use as a base for exploring the area (as long as the weather is kind)
Fantastic peaceful location to relax and unwind
Amazing views overlooking Aberdyfi.
A well equipped, spacious, warm and cosy log cabin.
Wonderful hosts with quick responses to any queries.
Enjoyed every minute..will be returning soon ☺
Situated in the centre of Aberdyfi, very comfortable room with excellent breakfast. The pub side of the business is well separated from the hotel side so nice and quiet but there is the conviviality there as well.
Great view and very nice room with basic facilities. My mother stayed in separate room within the hotel she didn't have tv reception this wasn't dealt with unfortunately.
Brilliant location just opposite the beach.
Lovely breakfasts.
Nice helpful staff.
Being able to purchase a card for the carpark from the hotel - about half the price.
