We booked this hotel as a budget option but it turned out to have a large newly furbished room, friendly staff and brilliant food. We decided to eat in the hotel the first night but after a great meal we decided to eat there again for the remaining night of our stay.

Old-style country hotel, super clean and comfortable. Great location for hiking in the area. Owner is really nice and provides a very generous (more than I could ever eat) breakfast. There is an excellent local restaurant about 10 minutes walk from the property (Funatello) I highly recommend; ate there 3 consecutive nights.

What a great place. I came to Corsica to hike the GR20 trail . This Hotel is located in the little village of Vizzavona. It is at Stage 9 of 16 stages of the GR20 trail going North to South. What a tremendous treat it was to take a break from rented tents and bunk houses in the mountains.And stay 2 days at this great hotel. I took the train to Ajaccio and went to the beach. A great rest day. The manager was super helpful. They have laundry facilities on site. The Dinner ,Lunches and Breakfasts that I had were excellent!
Big room with stunning view of the mountains. Delicious food. This station hotel is modern and comfortable but equally it felt like stepping back in time with polished wooden floors and lots of original features. It was lovely to watch the trains go through. It is on the backpacker route which gave it an informal comfy atmosphere. Great location for walking. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. Our two night stay up in the mountains felt like a special experience.

The hotel is in a really quiet surrounding. The room was spacious enough with all the basic amenities one would need for a night. It's close to one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Corsica: Cascade des Angles. Generous parking for your car.
The hotel staff go out of their way to make sure you are happy. I would recommend getting the dinner here as it is the best food I have ever had in Corsica. Its incredible and better than what you will get in the town.
It was a great location for the GR20, be sure to come off the route early so you don't need to walk up from Vizzavona. Really friendly staff and the breakfast and dinner at the restaurant was excellent.
This is an elegant hotel with exceptional service, food, and lovely rooms. To have this available in the middle of the Corsican mountains was amazing, and much appreciated after 9 days on a tough trek.
