Property is spacious with amazing gardens. There is plenty of garden furniture all over the wrap around gardens. It is really well equipped, including cot, baby bath and high chair. There was a complimentary bottle of champagne in the fridge. The games room in the basement was great for the grandkids. The host was very friendly.

Tucked away in a tiny quiet village. Chateau Vitry-la-Ville is set in beautiful grounds you are free to walk around. Some amazing largely unused rooms on the ground floor. It was like walking around a National Trust stately home.

The whole place was filled with a lovely atmosphere. The chateau is very beautiful and so are the gardens which allowed us to completely disconnect and enjoy poetic weekend. The hosts are very nice, kind and made us and our dog feel very welcome. Our dinner was composed of many courses which were accompanied by the music of Vivaldi and delicious local champagne which made us feel like a royalty. Both dinner and breakfast were simply delicious! We finished our stay by a lovely walk around the property where we enjoyed the formal gardens and got absorb by the woodlands with all kinds of wilderness.

It is very romantic place and mostely suitable for romantic weekend of loving people or for having a wedding party or annyversary party with a lot of friends. Very idilic garden and place around the castel. It is lonely place for forgetting in which century we live now.... The lack of restaurants and shopping in the near distance make the feeling of being arriving here with a time-maschine even stronger

Gorgeous chateau that also has the feel of a family home. Patrick was a great host, engaging, fun and wonderfully informative about his home. Home very relaxed and would be fantastic for family celebration or corporate event. Good facilities and unusual to find a pool in this area. Quality linen and towels as well as plenty of glasses etc if you have brought some wine to sip outside and enjoy the stunning surroundings. We wishes we had booked more time here but will definitely be back!
