Very good breakfast. I found it a bit expensive though.

The room was clean and comfortable. The toilet and shower were clean. The room was quiet with very little traffic or aircraft noise, which was amazing considering it was so close to the airport. The staff were helpful and were present even thought it was about 2am due to a delayed flight. The hours for breakfast were very flexible - up to 10.30am.
Near the Berre’s Pond, the hotel is easily accessible from the airport of Marseille-Provence-Marignane and from the motorway (A7), a few kilometers away from Marseille.

The hotel and the room was very good for staying close by the airport. It was clean, simple but practical. We did not use the breakfast or had any food there so I don't know about this. We did use the free airport shuttle which was a great convenience from and to the airport. One thing travellers should know about this service, is that when you need to request this service while in the airport, you need to go to the specific "Hotel" marked station points and press the button "IBIS Style Hotels" and ask for the particular hotel name. I didn't know that detail so I had to press a few other button before getting it right!!
The hotel is ideally situated only 25 km from the centre of Marseilles. The hotel has a special character and we're dedicated to making your stay pleasant and memorable.

We enjoyed staying at two Holiday Inn Expresses to stay close to the airport and one staying close to the St. Charles Train Station in Marseille. They were both well operated, and good for business and travelers. The St. Charles location could easily be a good location to get around Marseille.
I am afraid I do not recommend the town which has trash issues. We did not find this anywhere else in France. The rail station had minimal seating, lots of trash all over the place and on the train lines. If you have to travel through Marseille, stay at the Holiday Inn Express

A great location for us and nice and clean. We were disappointed to be placed in a handicapped room as neither of us is handicapped and we do not need that kind of facility, nor were we asked if we would like to stay in one. We find the "wet room" vs regular shower not to our liking which is our main negative. Plus, we would not want to deny any one who actually needed that facility which we were in and did not need.
On the other hand, the breakfast area was open before 6 am which allowed us to have a quick breakfast before our shuttle was to pick us up for an early flight. The shuttle was on time and very helpful. All in all, good value but do need to work on room allocation satisfaction!!!

Convenient and comfortable place to stay close to Marseilles airport. Our room was clean and comfortable. Both the pool and the breakfast were excellent!
The hotel shuttle bus was very efficient and picked us up from the airport and returned us promptly and pleasantly!

When you need an evening and a night o ly, the experience has to be immediate, there is not another dinner, another breafast, thrrefore you expect from a 4 stars hotel to deliver the best in tetms of commodities, good and service. This was not the case with us at least.

Our stay was on return from holiday before flying back home. The stop-over was excellent so chilled and relaxing, we ate at hotel buffet which was excellent with great choices evening and breakfast and good value. Our trip was short and unable to visit many places in area, but Hotel had numerous books and information on the area and Marseille.
The check in service was quick and the hotel honoured my 11am check in time which was really good of them. The one bedroom suite was big enough to accommodate 2 adults and 1 child very comfortably and the fridge with complimentary water was a bonus.
The hotel offered a complimentary airport shuttle, which we used - 5mins from getting into the shuttle to arriving at the airport.
The hotel is at some 800 m of the airport; you can walk but if you need a taxi (in the night when the shuttle does not work) this costs 25 euro, meanwhile uber is 20 euro. The rooms are very clean and quite large and bright, the wifi works well, parking is free, staff is very kind, polite and helpful.
The Staff were helpful and the rooms where cleaned daily and fresh towels and bedding replaced daily ...the train station was a five minutes walk behind the hotel and a bus stop at the end of the road which takes too and from the airport , which is just short walk .
Very friendly and helpful staff. We arrived after midnight to the airport and couldn't find a taxi. We called the hotel and the receptionist arranged with the hotel shuttle to come and pick us up even though it wasn't their operating time. So 10' to staff!!
Close to Marseille airport. 7 minute taxi journey. Good one night stop near the airport. Basic room with a small shower / toilet block. There is a supermarket next to the hotel too. Appropriate value for the money you pay.
