Beautiful location. The way it is set up allows for a lot of privacy. We had a very relaxed overnight stay. The house had everything that was needed. Very friendly host.

The property is quite remote and is therefore very peaceful and quiet. It’s beautifully appointed and has everything you want. Parking is very easy, and it’s very safe and secure. The views across the fields are gorgeous. It has two separate bedrooms, both accessible by stairs. A lounge, kitchen and a separate bathroom and toilet.
Both beds were very comfortable and warm.

The location is something special! The castle is being renovated and on arrival we were shown some of the parts that still need to be completed, including parts of the towers that date bake to the 1300s. The room had its own bath and shower but for the toilet we needed to go to the stairwell. Not a real problem, we will just call it part of the character of the stay.
The art around the building as well as the hunting trophies going back to the 1800s in the stairwell adds a lot of character and I guess feel of a bygone era.
The stairs were not too steep to walk up, even with luggage.
We travelled with a dog (and were not the only ones at that time). The dog enjoyed the field and park-like surroundings.
